Athens Greek Restaurant

Pizza tasted good, wings were fine but we have ordered a meat lovers pizza three times and have to search for the meat. Come on guys - for 50 cents of ingredients they can make it a real pizza. Last pm we actually spent an additional cost to add more meat and there was so little we kept getting the pizza confused with the veggie pizza - there was so little meat that you could not tell the difference. Back to frozen pizza from Costco I suppose. Have the same problem with Flipping. It seems to be a Frederick thing - when we travel on the road we get much better pizza. I think they just can get away with it here?

They are open for business and they are incredible. The staff is wonderful and the food is absolutely delicious. The pizza has got to be the best in Frederick that I have tried yet. The grape leaves are huge and like none I've ever tasted. They pack loads of meat on their pita souvlakis and add just the right amount of sauce. I keep trying different items every time I go and I am always ecstatic This place is great I would recommend them to anyone

Appears to have closed ? Always loved their food even though services was a little slow...i attributed that to food being freshly made tho. I hope they reope

Beware!!) So I called to place My order by phone. Well I was sent a text to downland an app to place My order which I proceeded to do. I got an email confirmation credit card charged $28.18 order should arrive within an hour. So an hr passes call the restaurant an they have no idea what I'm talking about? They never heard of this app? Totally dissapointed. Long story short- I had to find the 3rd party company. No thanks to Athens?? No food refund in 24-48 hrs. Why couldn't they just deliver My food?! An how aren't u aware theres a app an 3rd party order, With your business logo?? Super strange...Thank God that wasn't My last $28.18

We just moved here, my husband and I are gyro junkies. So, we thought we'd give this place a try. The only bad things I can say about it, are that it took over an hour for our food to be delivered and when I called to check on the status, the guy who answered the phone, hung up on me before I was done speaking. Aside from that, the gyros were AMAZING! The tzatziki sauce was delicious and they were huge! It was worth the wait and we would definitely order from here again!

I have ordered several times from Athens, they have a great menu selection, prices are fair and the good is good. I will continue to order. Oh yeah, and they deliver. :)

We just came back from Greece so we ordered a gyro and a chicken souvlaki. Both were delicious and the meat was really juicy. Will definitely come back someday

The new lady had a seriously hard time taking my order for a pizza. I had to repeat everything multiple times and it took her forever because of the computer. I would recommend writing it down. I love this place and everything they offer but I have no idea what just happened.

Food is good but i strongly suggest do not order for delivery as they charge you an extra dollar in addition to the total mentioned in the bill which includes a delivery charge. I am not sure who gets that extra dollar on each delivery.

We arrived at 1:30 on Sunday and were the only ones there. I ordered chicken parm with spaghetti, and my son ordered a Stromboli. My son loved his Stromboli. I'm guessing that my chicken was the frozen chicken patty type. The spaghetti was the thick kind and very soft. The sauce was bland and there was water on my plate from the spaghetti or the sauce. It was served with garlic bread which was a seasoned slice of white toast. My meal also came with a salad. I was not offered a choice of dressing. I will not return. Maybe their Greek food is better, but I would not recommend the Italian.

This place always has good food. I've been here numerous times and I have always been impressed with it. Not only is the food good, the service is great too.

Is it possible to give 1 million stars?! This place is so great! We drove an hour to go to our favorite Thai place near by. Unfortunately they had a 45 minute wait. So we googled another restaurant open late nearby and was led here....no regrets!!! Their pita and hummus is so great I got it to-go for our hour ride home!

Ordered through Yelp. The order said 45 to 60 minutes. 2 hours later after I've called the restaurant an hour precious our order shows up. It's cold. Of course. The delivery guy is mumbling into his arm. No further apologies. It's just plain nasty now. Of course. An hour here or more there or here - of course it's cold cold and nasty. I better get my refund. I'm not eating this trash. If you can't deal with online ordering - don't do it.

Went here for lunch today while visiting some family. Nondescript interior, certainly not the cleanest, but not terrible either. Ordered a chicken souvlaki sandwich. Thought it was okay, not memorable at all. Chicken was pretty bland but atleast the portion size was very decent. Got a side of roasted potatoes and they were really average too. Service was friendly. Combo was $10. Overall very average. Kudos for being halal though.

Yuk. There must have been a sale on garlic powder. Awful food on stale dollar store pitas. The owner said that's the way the cooks make everything! Pathetic.
