Came here after the first place we wanted to go to had already closed the kitchen for the night. I ordered the autumn harvest salad + a strawberry mint spritzer (idr the exact name but it was one of their nonalcoholic), my bf ordered their old fashioned and their brisket dish (came with Mac n cheese and collard greens). Vibes were immaculate, our waiter was an absolute delight, and the hostess had us sat quickly. It's a kind of a small place but you're not right on top of the other tables so that was nice. Definitely recommend if you're in the area looking for a dinner/late night bite after a local event!!

Delightful lunch spot! The drinks were spot on and the hush puppies were to die for. Our server was also the bar tender and she made lovely recommendations and was perfect in her service timing. Highly recommend!

Me and my buddy went here for lunch. I wasn't very crowded but the service was great and the atmosphere was nice. They had a big selection of drinks. We both decided to get their watermelon pomegranate beer. I got some gumbo alongside the double smashburger they have adding a sunny side up egg on top. Would highly recommend their menu is small but good. Their drink menu is fantastic as well. 10 out of 10 would recommend. They also offer kids menus there too.

We had dinner at 8:30 last night. Our server at the bar was terrific, very kind and made great drinks. Sadly, we got a bit of food poisoning from some items we ordered. That, in addition to the general poor quality of the food we received, was very disappointing considering their price point. Didn’t even receive the full amount of chicken on a $20 chicken and waffle, and the waffle was clearly not made fresh. Would not recommend.

We came here on a Friday night at 5:00. We were seated immediately. My wife had a 0 alcohol beer and said it was good. We had the deviled eggs for our appetizer, they were good! The presentation was really nice. We both had the pork and grits. It was a unique dish and very tasty. We both took half the dish home! This place is hopping and lively! It can be quite loud but it is very fun!
First, I've had five star food here, but it's just not consistent. With that said, I still come at least once a month for dinner and brunch as well as music, dancing , etc.
Prices are very high but again with that said, portions are large and usually food is delicious. Me and my lady can usually get by with splitting an appetizer and an entree unless we're super hungry.
There truly isn't too much on the menu that's not great when executed. Highlights on dinner are things like there's shrimp and grits, pork chop and brisket. Chicken sandwich and burger are really good too. French fries are solid and if you remotely like homemade chips, don't sleep on these. Best in Frederick for sure.
Service varies and typically is based on the server and how many / who are on staff that day. Some days I've had great service and other days I've had to beg for refills, stop at the bar for a beer or ask multiple times for ketchup.
The atmosphere during dinner and events such as line dancing is fun and well put together (special shout out to the dance instructor lady whom I forgot her name). Also dig the full wrap around bar vibe too
Would definitely suggest better lighting during brunch / lunch.. turning up lights or getting light bulbs that would brighten up and still dim for the night vibe, especially for the flat tops and booths.. and opening up the big door on the dance floor side would help brighten the place when coming for Sunday morning brunch.
All around very nice restaurant addition to Frederick but one more thing, be patient with parking because it has been tough to find when that part of town is busy.

We had such a wonderful dinner at Bentztown. The food was awesome - loved the Hush Puppies and roasted chicken. Service was extremely attentive and friendly, with a great low key atmosphere.

I stopped by Benztown on a Friday night to kick off the weekend, and it did not disappoint! The atmosphere was warm and friendly, and the food was outstanding. We had the Nashua Hot Chicken, Hush Puppies, and Smash Burger each one was cooked perfectly and packed with flavor.
The real standout, though, was the Coco Loco. Easily one of the best piña coladas I’ve ever had. I wish I knew the bartender’s name because he made it to perfection. Friendly service, great vibes, and excellent food & drinks!! I’ll definitely be back!
