Bob Evans offers great service, with friendly waitresses who have been with the restaurant for a few years. The food, however, is a mixed bag. Some dishes are okay, but others are disappointing, such as the hotcakes, ham, and grits. The southern sandwich and oatmeal are also criticized for being runny and overly buttery.
