Wasn't busy at all yet it took the waitress in the bar area 45 minutes to take our order. She didn't apologize for taking so long and took forever to come back to our table. I didn't even let her know our kids order was wrong because I knew she would take forever. Worst service I've had at this restaurant.

The food is delicious and fresh. Plus the portion sizes are good for the price compared to most restaurants like this. My favorite dishes are the Crab Cakes and the Fish and Chips. The bread served at the start of the meal is also very tasty.

The atmosphere is very dim and calming, good for a laid back date night.

My only reason for 4 stars would be the drinks. Every time I’ve visited they weren’t particularly enjoyable. Anything with a salt rim was almost undrinkable due to the amount added into the drink for some reason. Even after replacing with sugar rim the next visit, the same drinks tasted different each time and just off.

This grill restaurant doesn’t just serve food — it serves fire-kissed perfection. Every dish that hits the table feels like it came straight off a backyard dream, only elevated by expert technique and top-quality ingredients.

I ordered the grilled ribeye, and it was flawless — a beautiful char on the outside, juicy and tender inside, with a deep, smoky flavor that only a real grill can deliver. The house seasoning was subtle but just right, letting the meat do all the talking.

My table also shared the grilled salmon, which was equally impressive — moist, flaky, and enhanced with a zesty citrus-herb marinade that brought it to life. The sides were no afterthought: charred corn with chipotle butter, garlic mashed potatoes, and fire-roasted vegetables — all served hot and full of flavor.

Service was fast, friendly, and knowledgeable. You could tell the team knew their grill game — they asked how we wanted everything cooked and actually nailed it.

The atmosphere was casual but sharp — think rustic wood, open flame smells in the air, and the kind of lighting that makes your food look even better. Bonus points for a solid drink list, including craft beers and smoked cocktails that matched the vibe perfectly.

Bottom line: If you're a fan of grilled meats, bold flavors, and satisfying portions, this place is a no-brainer. Five stars, and absolutely worth the visit — this is how grilling should be done.

Food wasn't flavorful. We have eaten at many different Bonefish locations and this food did not have much flavor, very bland.

This used to be one of our favorite places to eat, tonight we got takeout via UberEats and the fontina porkchop was sent to us undercooked. We got a refund via UberEats but this is a food safety hazard that can make someone REALLY sick, as you should never consume undercooked pork. Really disappointing as this has never happened before

Spectacular food, an interesting menu and friendly staff. Who could ask for more.

We keep trying, but can not find anything that's not 4 star here. We love it.

We've been here several times and each time the service was as great as the food.

The menu changed, my filet steak was a bit too thin and the server was fantastic.

Phenomnoms, got the panseared ahi tuna. They let me switch my side out which not all nice restaurants allow. Great waiter, AMAZING food, overall a great dining experience. Would recommend for family dinners, meetings, or a date ;)

The best service I have ever had. The waitress was attentive and the chef honored special request and came to speak to my party for added stellar service. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was comforting and relaxing. Great restaurant to go for a celebration or a simply dinner with family. Be sure to stop by when you are in the Frederick area.

Every month, Bonefish has been having a food and drink pairing with either four or five courses and four or five different drinks. It’s a great way for us to try new things. We love it.

We went here for our Easter dinner. The service was terrible. We were completely ignored at the bar while waiting for our guests. We were the only people at the bar. Once seated we saw our server only twice during our dinner. Potatoes were forgotten and our servers reply was”really? That is interesting “ We waited for her return with the check for 1/2 hour and had to ask another employee. We were disappointed for sure.
