Food was excellent. A lot of choices for brunch. I always wanted to try chicken and waffle but it was always offered with a chicken breast and a prefer dark meat so I never ordered it. They offered chicken and waffles with a boneless fried chicken thigh. It was perfect!! They make their own waffle batter and the thigh was crispy and so juicy and tender. Wasn't expecting to be seated at the enclosed patio, but it was less noisy than the fully indoor seating. And they turned down the heat lamps, thankfully. The food was spectacular. Inventive options with a twist, beautifully presented, fairly priced. The service was wonderful. We truly felt like valued guests even though it was our first visit. Chilled glasses for cold drinks was such a welcome offering, as was a refill-yourself water bottle. I drink a lot of water, and appreciated...
The quality of the food is outstanding and a bit incongruent with the decor. This restaurant also serves brunch items I am now obligated to try with that Fall Cocktail menu. My husband opted for the “supper” staple of meatloaf with the garlic mashed potatoes. Presented beautifully, it was dense, flavorful, with mushroom gravy. I chose salmon accompanied with glazed carrots 🥰. The cocktails are good, too (Limoncello martini). The service was excellent.
