Stopped in after a trip to Maryland from DC and waited around 40 minutes for a table for two around noon - so not terrible for such a busy time. The service was friendly, if not appearing slightly overwhelmed with the amount of people in the building. The menu is pretty basic diner food. We were hoping for some Cajun food based on the name NOLA, but that seems to be just a name and not a sign of the cuisine. The biscuits and gravy were decent but nothing to write home about and the French toast was also decent but unremarkable. For the price and wait it didn’t really meet our expectations and isn’t a place I would come back to. That said, it is serviceable, and by all means satisfactory, if you go into it with proper expectations.

Great breakfast/brunch! Had the smoked hash, lox Benedict, migas, shrimp and grits, and french toast with apple compote. Everything was delicious, especially the body Mary's and the banana foster latte

Last night my friends and I were sitting at the bar and the bartender literally told my friends to shut up or get out because apparently we were being to loud. The restaurant had a total of 5 people in it. If you live in Frederick do not go here everyone knows the workers are hands down the rudest people. Don't waste your money.

I never asked to go. Was eating all plastic the got.
Absolutely this place! The service is always outstanding, the lattes are tasty and beautiful, and the food is fantastic. My Lox Benedict had an extremely generous amount of salmon on it. I get lox at every breakfast/brunch place I go, and I’ve never had a restaurant that gave this much. Definitely get your money’s worth here!

They had trouble accommodating our party of 7 (which included 3 kids), but eventually got us seated a half hour later two tables side-by-side. Once seated, service was great with a charming part-diner part-coffeehouse part-restaurant vibe. The food was excellent, from the utterly stuffed salmon/lox bagel to a generous eggy scramble. Mocha coffee was on point, delicious.

We went on a weekday late morning, there was plenty of seating. We both had the same breakfast, scrambled eggs, bacon, toast and fresh fruit. Outside of the eggs being a little overcooked everything else was great.

Didn’t make it past the rainbow flag at the entrance. We went across the street to Beans & Bagels with an American flag in the window. Excellent little coffee shop, exactly what I was looking for.
