A fun time! Visted the bar side of the restaurant and the atmosphere was nice. A very enjoyable time. Had appetizers for dinner and they were hot and tasty.

Went on Saturday Jan. 20th 2024. The weather that day was extremely cold 20's. The restaurant was very cold. It felt like heat not on. We asked waiter said it was on. The wait staff had on sweatshirts. There were other customers complaining how cold it was. Won't go there again when it is that cold!!!

The atmosphere is dated like the 80s. It seems to be packed in the back which is a bar. Service was painfully slow and there was only 3 tables eating.Sea scallops were large and good (not great) my daughter got the twin lobster, the one was good but I tasted the second one with her and it tasted like a horrible chemical on it!! So bad that I couldn’t get the taste out of my mouth…literally tasted like a cleaning agent was on it. So that was a waste of money to only eat one!Would I return -No for the price I’d prefer better food and atmosphere !

Christmas Eve at Callahan's with family. First time for all of us. $20-$40 per person. The person who ordered the beef filet said it was excellent. I ordered the wrong dish, so it wasn't their fault I was disappointed in my meal. I didn't realize I ordered the wrong dish until I returned home. The staff and service were excellent, and the owner was clearly watching the dining room for proper supervision. The atmosphere had a rustic feel, which was clearly their intention.Kid-friendliness: We brought my 18 month old grandchild with us, and the staff was very friendly towards her and her parents. It was even clear that the servers altered their service paths to avoid potential difficulties. That was very appreciated.

First time eating at this local restaurant. Decided to try it based upon a FB promo for Prime Rib Fridays. Met an older friend for lunch and found it charming. Server/Host was friendly, capable and very helpful. Nicely decorated for Christmas and at 1pm was not overwhelmingly busy. Men is diverse and well priced and both of our orders were delicious! Yes, I made an upcoming reservation for a Prime Rib Friday.Parking: For seniors the parking and venue are flat with no steps.

The food was delicious!!! The crab dip was served in a bread bowl and a very generous serving size. It was one of the best we've ever had! My husband had the French dip sandwich and french onion soup. I had the half flatbread (seafood)/salad special . The seafood was flavorful and the salad was fresh. Everything tasted great!!! Would drive the hour to visit here again!

I came for lunch on a Friday and the place was empty so I was seated and served very quickly. I ordered 2 dishes from the 'small plate' section and couldn't finish it all but it rewarmed well for dinner. I sometimes don't need the lemon for my seafood but I highly recommend it here the citrus from the lemon aided in creating the perfect balance.
