Canapes Catering

We hired Canapés to provide catering for our 60 person wedding and morning after breakfast. From the start we were impressed with the quality and creativity of the food. We wanted to do Middle Eastern and Mediterranean food and had originally looked for a vendor who specializes in this type of cuisine. However, Canapés simply beat the others we tried on flavors, options, and their experience in bringing it all together for a luxury and seamless experience. We worked with Becky as our catering manager and she was wonderful. She was able to pivot with us when we wanted to add things or change things, and helped us also design a wonderful breakfast for the following morning that they delivered with the main meal and we just heated up. They worked with us to have a hybrid approach where we did passed and displayed apps at cocktail hour, a gorgeous dip trio that was pre-served on the tables, then a server salad, then a buffet for the rest. We brought in our own alcohol and had some specialized mocktails, and they were totally great with using our provided items. They didn’t demand we use their rentals or buy anything in particular from them, and were totally flexible about us having speciality rentals from other companies for flatware, linens, plates, etc. I REALLY appreciated this flexibility and never felt any pressure that we HAD to get XYZ from them. They just wanted it to work for us. They also had a lot of experience at our venue (Zigbone) which made things SO much easier. I received compliments on the food and the kids were all so happy with their kids meals as well!! All in all, I felt really lucky to work with a company that was so flexible and inviting. Thank you Becky and the entire team at Canapés for helping us have such a great wedding weekend!!

Canapes catered a memorial service for my mother in law in early June. The food and service were both impeccable: Becky did most of the handling of our order via phone and email and was professional and very kind. The day of the event when we picked up our order everyone was friendly and efficient, and helped make sure we got all our food into our vehicle securely. It was plated carefully and very easy to set up at our event location, which was a bit of of town.

As far as the food itself: It was amazing. The memorial had a slight tea party theme and Canapes' staff suggested ordering cocktail sandwiches along with the variety of pastries we wanted. It was three weeks ago and people are still mentioning how much they loved the sandwiches when they see my husband and I. The turkey on carrot muffins was a particular favorite. I lost track of the number of people who asked where we'd gotten the food catered. We'll definitely use Canapes for catering we need in the future.

Canapés Catering is a must-have vendor for your wedding - they provided both incredible food and service for our wedding and I have heard nothing but absolutely rave reviews from all of our guests! Becky and her team are phenomenal to work with and their attention to detail shone through throughout the process! From the start, their tasting menu was delicious and made it difficult to narrow down a menu because everything was amazing! Their coordination over email, at our vendor walkthrough and all the way up to the wedding was thorough and thought out!

On the day of, Becky made sure we had an array of food during our steal away moment, she ensured our champagne glasses were always full during dinner, and she even caught us at the end of the night to give us bride and groom take out platters!

Their entire service team stayed on schedule and the bartending team had plenty of compliments from all our guests as well!

I cannot recommend Canapés enough for your wedding our other catering needs!

I was catering a 50th birthday open house style party. Kori was fantastic to work with. Their menus are so extensive and with so many delicious choices. With Kori’s guidance and advice, we selected a menu that fit the dietary needs of my guests, would be easy to manage for the duration of the party, and her attention to details made all the difference. For instance, since the party was an open house, people would be arriving throughout the afternoon. Kori had the food packaged in half trays and half bowls so that we could easily refresh the buffet as food was eaten. Plus this helped with fitting the food into a regular side by side refrigerator. The delivery and set up was so easy, Mike was wonderful. It arrived with perfect timing for the first guests. I will definitely use Canapes again!

The menu we selected was beef, chicken, and veggie kabobs, quinoa salad, potato salad, a green salad, sliced fruit, and cheese and crackers. Everything was gluten free and nut free.

We had the honor of having Canapés Catering, cater our wedding and they did not disappoint! We worked with Kori and then Becky directly and they were so personable and went the extra mile for us! We had so many compliments on the food, we will be back often to have lunch :)

Canapes catered our wedding in September 2023, and my husband and I cannot say enough great things about our experience! From start to finish, Becky and her team provided exceptional support. The extensive menu is almost overwhelming – they provide just about anything you can imagine, and everything we sampled at our tasting was fantastic. Canapes patiently discussed any customizations we wanted, as well as made recommendations to accommodate dietary restrictions. With the bar already so high, the food and service they provided for our reception still managed to exceed expectations. Our guests raved about the food, which was delicious and well-timed. Becky also went the extra mile to ensure that my husband and I were able to enjoy our appetizers and meals, despite the numerous demands for our attention, by setting aside servings that we could eat at our convenience. She and the team also packed up any leftovers we had, so that we could enjoy them later. They provided superior food and service, so professionally and smoothly – we strongly recommend Canapes Catering for any event near Frederick, MD.

I've been there several times and the food is excellent. They got my order slightly wrong. I called and they sent someone out with the correct order. To me,that's customer service at its best. The lady out front is very nice and professional. I highly recommend this place for grab and go.

We used Canapés for our recent wedding and I couldn't be happier with it. The food, the staff, the service, the entire process; phenomenal. We still have guests commenting on how delicious the food was and how wonderful and attentive the staff was. I would absolutely recommend canapés for any of your catering needs. Also Becky was an absolute dream to deal with as our catering contact person (really every staff member was a delight to deal with). Also if your'e in the area, stop at their cafe for a grab and go item - SO GOOD!.
