Chipotle Mexican Grill

Solid chipotle experience. Not the best, but not the worst either. The food was good, consistent with other chipotles, and the employees were efficient and polite. I'd stop here again.

Tried to give them another chance after months of not going back. Last time.

Fool me once...

This Chipotle is so hit or miss, I never know what I'm going to get. When they're good, they're good. Unfortunately, there have been a lot of mistakes or issues lately.

I'd say 3 out of the last 5 or 6 times we've been, the Carnitas is always really fatty. When you take out the fat and gristle, you lose so much of your meat. This is especially upsetting in my kids' meals as that usually means all they're left with is a tiny amount of pork, rice and whatever other side they get.

Portion sizes are decent, but I always go in. My pickup experiences are the portions are always eat too small. At least by going inside, I can monitor so I don't get a bowl with 75% rice, even though I always choose light rice.

The guacamole usually leaves me wishing I hadn't bought it. It is usually too chunky, the avocados weren't ripe, or sometimes it's even been brown. I just don't order it anymore.

My last food related issue is the chips. Anytime I order chips, I have to specify small otherwise they automatically give you a large bag. A few times, I asked for a small bag and they said they didn't have any bags made so I'd have to get a large bag. Out of principal, I refused and told them to fill a small bag from a large bag. She rolled her eyes, huffed, and did it begrudgingly.

Last thing: I never eat in the restaurant. The tables are often dirty and the music is ALWAYS way too loud. I can barely order without yelling, it's not a comfortable environment in my opinion.

Not the worst chipotle Ive been to. The restaraunt, including the bathroom was clean and tidy. And the portions of meat were fair, some locations dont make sure you get a full scoop without you double checking. But the buritto wraping left a little to be desired... its annoying when the filling is so segregated that you cant get a single bite with all the ingredients. Also, I appreciated that they were open late, as every other quick bite place was closed.

I ordered 2 bowls, steak and chicken. I also ordered Queso and chips. The bowls were fine, the queso was horrible, there was no taste at all, it felt and tasted like I was eating cardboard. What happened to the queso?

Not law enforcement friendly. Members of the staff walked into the back as soon as a law enforcement officer walked in and the person who did wait on the LEO was rude and unprofessional.

I was in line about to order my food when an employee came up and asked if my dog was a service dog. I said yes because he is. She then proceeded to ask if I had had proof with me, which she is NOT allowed to ask. When I said no to proof with me, she told me that I could not eat in the building. My service animal was on a LEASH and being HELD in my arms. He was not causing any harm or disruption to the customers or employees. Please be aware of making sure your staff knows the proper protocol for accepting service animals into your establishment. Thank you!

Have like 2-3 pieces of meat on my bowl and got charged extra even when I didnt ask for extra

Came in at 10:55 they open at 10:45, ordered a barbacoa bowl and it was cold! They need to check temperature of the food and make sure it’s hot when they open at 10::45. The meat portion is on consistent and most times they skimp, prices just went up as well. Music was so loud I could not think while eating my food.

Usually not that bad, but this time the woman who took the order communicated poorly. They didn't have much food ready and after we got it home we found out it was all cold. The portion was about half of normal. The burrito bowl barely reached the top of the bowl. We ordered chips and queso and got very few chips. Altogether a poor meal and experience. I'm sure they could care less.
