Food is good, I can recommend the malai kofta and the shahi paneer. They were accommodating in asking to increase the heat level. Sodas were by the can so do not expect free refills on them.
the owners are there most days so service is very reliable. It's gonna be our go to when we want to have Indian but have a time table to keep.
They renovated the interior. It looks a lot warmer and more inviting than before.

This place was recommended by a worker colleague, and I have to say, it was great experience.
First eating at an Indian restaurant and the food was delicious. I did not even know what I was eating at the time. My girlfriend and I ordered the chicken samosa, and it came with several sides, some pickled vegetable and two sauces. I had to ask our waitress what they were.
We both ended up ordering a different type of curry dish, I got the beef curry, and my girlfriend got the chicken curry. The bread that came with our meal tasted fresh, and our food was cooked beautifully and tasted delicious.
Only downside was both our meals came to a total above $60.
I would highly recommend if you wanted some good Indian food. Definitely going back.

Stopped in last evening for takeout and it's been a little while since my wife and I have taken out food from here. I walked in and the owners remembered me immediately and they spoke with me for 10 minutes while my order was being prepared. We ordered butter chicken, Aloo Gobi w/beef and naan. We also got a couple of the vegetable samosa's. Our food was so delicious and my wife and I could not stop talking on how great it was and that we need to get food there more often. This establishment has been there for years, and it never disappoints. Thank you again for a great experience!

Clay Oven has consistently been an all-star spot for good food and attentive service. We have had many fulfilling and enjoyable meals there in the restaurant or at home with a take-out order. I especially love the Beef Korma with a said of Kashmiri naan. Real comfort food.

So for the first time ever a place charged me a $1.50 fee for paying with cash and not a card. I’m so confused and annoyed at the same time and despite this places food being great I will probably not come back.

Went to try the lunch special, and not very surprised. Food quality was okay, took quite sometime to arrive.
Butter chicken is usually my go to plate when trying any Indian restaurant. The sauce wasn't creamy and silky as I would like. Naan was very bland and no taste at all. Consistency of the food overral was lacking, but not too bad for the price.
The mango lassi was great though a little too sweet.
Maybe I should give another try, with a different dish.

So we were not Indian food people. We decided to give Indian Food one more try and found Clay Oven. To say it has changed our mind is an understatement. The food is absolutely delicious, the service is very attentive, and the owner is there and comes to check on the food & service with the customers. Absolutely great experience and delicious food at the same time. Highly recommend and we keep coming back because of how great it is!
