Today was different… and even more special.
I come here every single month for my 5lb bag of ground coffee because I truly love it that much. I literally drive an hour just so I can wake up every morning and enjoy that perfect cup. That’s how special this coffee is to me — it’s part of my daily ritual, my quiet moments, my productivity, my comfort.
Today, I accidentally forgot my bag at the store (and of course I didn’t realize until later 😅). When I called, they had already saved it for me with so much kindness and care. That small gesture meant more than they probably know.
It’s not just the quality of the coffee — which is incredible every single time — it’s the people. The team here is always warm, welcoming, and genuinely kind. You can feel the good energy the moment you walk in. Everyone works so hard, and it shows in every detail — from the consistency of the roast to the customer service.

Not the best croissant… would have also been better heated. But the bread wasn’t made right.

Great local spot with lots of character. Top coffee in the area. Lots of baked good options including homemade pop tarts which carry the texture of a turnover or streudel. Bagel breakfast sandwich was great.

If you are a coffee snob who loves a smooth latte, this place is not it! Wish I would’ve known about “Gravel & Grind” my first day in Frederick and saved my coins for that spot! They know how to do a silky delicious latte. Go there!!

Atmosphere is comfortable. I don't appreciate that you have to pay for honey as your preferred sweetener for the drip coffee. The server kindly provided me some complimentary honey after informing me they charge for it typically. I will continue to buy the coffee beans but, charging for honey to enjoy a cup in-house is a huge turn off.
