Suggested by friends, we tried this restaurant (we were a party of 4) on a very busy Friday night of Valentine's Day weekend. They were so busy that we took a 4pm reservation and we never felt rushed even though we were at our table over 2½ hours.The food was excellent, though some of the entrées were absurdly expensive. The crab-stuffed mushroom appetizer was amazing. They have a really nice and varied menu, but I just can't get excited about $75 prime rib dinner. The drink prices were nearly the opposite - just $5 for domestic beers, $6 for imports and house wines by the glass were delicious with a very generous pour. Service was great and our check came to around $400 (including tip).

We have been going here for the last 20+yrs with friends and family in January. The food and service is always amazing and the dungeon (bottom floor) expansion dining rooms are perfect for our large group. The bar is right next to the dining rooms & for our group its perfect for happy hour before dinner,...& then a handful of us stay for a second happy hour after dinner 😄.
The place is great for large families and business dinners, did a few of those here too.
Only giving 4 our of 5 because of the menu prices that have gone through the roof. Some of our group are on the ledge with continuing to go due to the rising cost. If Dutchs Daughter watches these reviews my message is please level off the cost increases.

Pretty nice atmosphere atmosphere. We meet there a couple days after Christmas. Although it would have been nice of the fireplace was running. Only one was among make that they have. As far as food options go this would NOT be a place to go if you're vegan. No entries are vegan.
