Been here for a date night with my husband, the ambience is authentic American Italian vibes, i love their alfredo, cheese balls, arancini, and crabcakes were so delicious, very good service.Overall, very good experience, the vibe of the place is palace vibes with authentic Italian food.

Always so good! Consistently excellent food and service. You never have to worry about having a bad experience here. Crab cakes are phenomenal. Also, give the house old fashioned a try. Lunch menu very affordable and outdoor eating area relaxing and shaded.

It’s very old school, it reminded me of the 80s. So that could be good that could be bad.
Our server was outstanding . Super friendly and helpful…. I wouldn’t call it the most creative menu but if you’re looking for an nostalgia and well prepared food and a clean, bright roomie restaurant. This is your place.

It really is hard to post anything negative about Dutch’s Daughter because I know it is (usually) a class act. Great food is the norm, and you can’t beat the atmosphere. Today, was out of the ordinary due to one bartender in the Dungeon with a really bad attitude, and unfortunately, that is all it takes for customers to get up and leave like we did (hence the one star for food in my rating - we left without ordering any).
My wife and I selected seats at a corner of the bar in the dungeon because we like to talk face to face rather than over our shoulders when sitting side-by-side. The spots were recently vacated and not yet cleared - a couple empty glasses remained.
The bartender came at us with both barrels - raising her voice to inform us that she would “HAVE TO CLEAN THOSE SPACES.” She was obviously pissed that we selected those seats - so much so that she walked around (outside the bar) and made us get up from our seats so she could wipe down the chairs - all the while mumbling something about COVID. Get a load of that - she was wiping the seat of the chair and then the bar where we were planning to eat (with the same cloth) while pretending to be concerned about germs.
She was hell-bent on sending us a message about how to select vacant, clean spots - so we sent her a message and left after letting the manager know that we won’t be back - ever.
One bad apple is all it takes to completely negate a positive impression earned over a number of years of fine food and great service.
I hope the Manager takes time to remind this employee of that.
