The food was delicious and service was great. I highly recommend the fried chicken with some pimento mac and cheese.

One of my preferred places for Family Meals. The food was tasty. Next time I'll be back with my relatives. The bill was reasonable.

This place always delivers. They serve fantastic food for reasonable prices, there no long wait even when they are loaded.

Really no substantive vegan options here. But the omelette is good if your diet allows. The drinks are nice. Not sure if they are open now. Website says closed due to covid. But google maps says open until 10. And their phone alludes to being open, but a call during those hours states that they are closed. Someone help us learn what is really happening with their hours now?

Food is usually very fresh and good but on two occasions had to send food back because it was burned (burned side down!). Service is hit or miss. Menu quite limited.

The three-cheese lasagna had absolutely no flavor and was barely warm when I got home less than a mile away from the restaurant. I can't believe it cost FIFTY DOLLARS with a small side salad. I could've bought a $12 lasagna of the same size in the freezer section at a grocery store that tasted better. The side salad tasted good, but it was way too small for being the side for a big lasagna. The side of roasted veggies was pathetic. They were barely cooked, had no seasoning, and were sitting in a pool of water. The only good part of the meal was the wine.

Yum. Not much to say, I have eaten there a dozen or more times since they opened, rarely a issue. Love their specials.

All the food is on point! Do not skip the adult milkshakes they are phenomenal! Staff was great too! Awesome service!

Decided to visit Family Meal restaurant week and take advantage of the opportunity to try something I wouldn't normally get. The lamb Bolognese was amazing and I'm happy to hear that the lemon meringue dessert is being added to the menu. Great food and service as usual. Family Meal is definitely one of my go-to restaurants in Frederick.

Well we had a party of 3 on this night. I don't think we did enough to make our servers experience an enjoyable one. No smile, no warmth. She tolerated us. we are actually pretty good patrons. we ran up quite a bill- which is not hard to do here. The menu is small but features some good main dishes- but the side dishes are new age or "foo-foo". I wanted the fried chicken but it was only available as part of a 3 course meal that cost $35. That was my fault for buying it. our food was good enough but they wouldn't let us make a simple substitution. None of us felt welcome. One of the server guys was nice to us. Other than that, i don't think we were young, trendy, hip or cool enough for our waitress. We won't be back anytime soon. My wife had the chicken and waffles and didn't enjoy it. she found the chicken too sweet with honey to also have with waffles. i think you need saltier chicken with chicken and waffles- not double sweet. it's like they wanted to put a dish out there for the toothless hicks like us and couldn't get it right. Sorry, i'm dragging this out. I'm done.

This is my go-to breakfast place whenever I come back home to visit family. I've only had lunch/dinner here a couple times, but I much prefer breakfast here. The crispy homefries are probably my favorite thing at family meal. They're so delicious. Everytime I come, I try and have something different. Over never been disappointed with the breakfast. There's always something new to try, and this last visit, I had the fried pastrami hash. It had an egg on top and hollandaise. It was phenomenal. I do wish there was a bit more hollandaise on top just because it was so good, and gave some much needed creaminess to an otherwise dry/crispy dish. Of course, the egg also helped with that. Whenever I see a new french toast dish, I'm sure to try those as well and they're great! When in season, the mulled wine is phenomenal. There is no better breakfast in Frederick!

The food is fresh, original, and amazing. The onion rings were the best I’ve ever had with a light and herby dipping sauce. Fried chicken was juicy and crispy. We live an hour away and will make the trip for this fantastic place! Worth it every time.
