Firehouse Subs Shops At Monocacy

Went to grab a late Lunch... Always have a good experience going to this Firehouse Shops.

ABSOLUTELY DEPLORABLE SERVICE. None of the four staff people had anything resembling a uniform on. They ate WHILE they prepared food. Sweet tea wasn't made. There was an overall lack of pride or respect. It took everything I had not to tell customers walking in that literally any place to get food was better than this Firehouse subs at this time. Will never step foot in that store again. This message isn't for the uncaring young ladies on shift... it's for management/ownership. GET IT TOGETHER!!!

Slowest service of my life. I placed an online order for 2 steak and cheese subs. I was told it would only take 20 minutes. We walked in at the exact time it was said to be ready. It took them over 45 MINUTES just to make the subs. Instead of concentrating on the ONLY order that was placed, the two ladies prioritized their personal conversation about people getting “under their nerves.” This is ridiculous! You pay for a service and place an online order for the customers convenience. I am never coming here again.

I don’t know where the owner finds these people to work at this location. But they should seriously consider training them before leaving them alone to make sandwiches. If you want a proper sub that you order to actually be what you order go somewhere else. I know I won’t waste my time or money at this location again.

Not sure what's going on there I walked in and was waiting in line to get help I don't know whether the short-handed or not but waited over 10 minutes not even a greeting not even eye contact I'm assuming they thought I might have been a DoorDash or grubhubber because I was on my phone waiting either which way cuz I was trying to buy a sub and grab a quick snack on the way out to my next meeting and I'll just have to choose a different restaurant hopefully you guys get better stuffed or retrain your group

The two ladies working the counter needed to spend 3 minutes wrapping up their conversation before taking my girlfriends order. Then held another conversation in the back before getting our order started. All in all it took 15 minutes to purchase two subs to go from an otherwise empty sub shop. They gave my girlfriend a nasty attitude to boot. It will be the last time we come here.

Customer service was shaky at first. I ordered an Italian for my wife and the cashier turned to her coworker and said “I knew it” not offended but that’s not very polite. Service was fast and the food tasted good. Most of the drinks in the fountain were unavailable.

I was mostly turned off by someone I assume to be the franchise owner or upper management speaking rather angrily at the manager. I get, the store clearly isn’t running well but success starts from the top and trickles down. The people who are really in charge need to be doing the right things for the business to be successful. Letting emotions get the best of you as a manager is not doing the right thing. It’s just unprofessional.

How do you forget the chips when someone is ordering a CHIP COMBO sandwich

Staff is always friendly, food fresh and this location is very clean.

Alittle miss leading when the business say they close at 9pm and you get there at 8:47pm and they have already closed there doors and locked them JUNE 13 Friday smh.

Just ordered my usual cheddar brisket on wheat. I got home and the meat is so thick & tough made me lose my damn appetite. I called the store 4x’s to see if they changed the meat etc but naturally no damn answer & it’s only 7:15ish. I will continue to go to the firehouse subs on Buckeyspike because this location is always something.

placed a pick up order online. the sandwiches we got were great but we were kinda disappointed to find out they forgot our chips in our bag. of course, not a huge deal but the online order area literally said the chips would be in the bag, only thing we were to grab was drinks. would i come back? yes. i just wouldn't trust a pick up order

I ordered online and was given the option for an extra pickle, so I ordered one. When I got home and opened up my sandwich, there were no pickles at all. I ordered extra and got none. I called the store and the phone just rang and rang, so I called Firehouse customer service. We'll you can't talk to a human, they tell you how to do it on line and hang up. The online service is a joke also, you talk to AI, not a human. To me, when you don't get an option to talk to a human, that is very poor customer service, tells me you don't care about me. I am done with Firehouse Subs, they are not that good and are definitely no Jersey Mike's, where you can speak to a human for customer service.
