My fiancé and I came in for our first ever time and he was so helpful and intentional with his knowledge of beer. His hospitality made our stop a very memorable one. This place is worth your time for the beer selection and service alone.

The owners were very communicative, professional, and clear with every aspect of the event. They even made sure to actively host during our event by engaging with our family and friends, many of whom had never been to a place with their kind of drink set up. Would absolutely return for a bite and drinks

Great location in the heart of Frederick. Came here on a Sunday between lunch/dinner and had no problem getting a table for a large group. Love that it's right on the creek too!
Overall, I was pretty underwhelmed. The food was just okay - pretty typical bar food and nothing spectacular. The kitchen was out of a lot of options when we ordered which made the menu more limited. The tap wall is a cool concept and I really did enjoy the huge amount of different drink options they had! Each drink is on a touchscreen and provides a detailed description of the drink/flavor. However, it's pricey. Would pour half a glass and was basically the price for a full beer elsewhere.
Service was okay. There are no real servers coming around. It's all order yourself, get your own drinks, and clean up yourself.
The inside was nice. TVs showing football, kids area, and it was very clean. Outdoor patio as well.

Frederick Social is BEYOND incredible!! We held our wedding welcome party on Halloween -- Mike and Audi went above and beyond to make our day special. They were attentive, communicated constantly and clearly (a MUST for an anxious bride!) and the food was out of this world! My husband and I are vegan; this was NO PROBLEM for Frederick Social! The options were endless, and we ended up needing to cut options to save the kitchen time! The vibes were immaculate and we simply couldn't recommend Frederick Social more. Whether you're stopping by for a meal and (many) drinks or planning an event, THIS IS THE SPOT!

Frederick Social somehow managed to mess up every single step of the experience, which honestly takes coordination.
We waited in line to check in while the host answered the phone and confidently told someone, “Yeah, we can totally fit a party of five,” despite the place already being packed shoulder-to-shoulder like a middle school dance. No seats. No space. Just chaos. We ended up wedged at the bar like sardines.
The beer? Every option tasted like it was brewed with corn syrup and regret. We sampled multiple pours hoping one would be drinkable, but it was just a parade of disappointment.
Then came the food. After over an hour of waiting, I had to track someone down, only to be told, “Oh yeah, the kitchen’s working on it.” Fifteen minutes later, we were served what can only be described as frozen, microwaved sadness dumped out of a plastic container. The kind of meal you’d get at your depressed, recently divorced dad’s house after Mom took everything and he’s trying to prove he’s “still got it.”
It was so bad our whole group actually laughed when it hit the table.
No apology. No attempt to make it right. Just noise, screaming kids, and a checkout screen aggressively pushing an absurd tip like the service hadn’t been a full-contact failure.
It honestly felt like the staff had a morning meeting where management said, “Let’s see if we can screw this up at every possible opportunity today,” and everyone really committed to the vision.
Hard pass. There are way too many good spots in downtown Frederick to waste time and money here.

I don't typically leave reviews but this place deserves a shout out! For one, the environment is laid back and one of a kind. The service is outstanding and probably the friendliest and most genuine I've come across in the longest time! The food is deliciously fresh and if I had the ability to eat more, I totally would but...my pants won't allow it. Now onto the beverages! Im not much of a drinker but man, the caramel apple cider and hoop tea...ahhhhmazing!!!! I'll definitely be back and will spread the word!! ♡

I ended up paying about $13 for a less than half of a solo cup of rose. The advertised a kids play area but there wasn't much to it. Just a little fisher price kitchen with no toys. We went on a Sunday and while they had TVs with the games on the place was pretty dead. The menu seems unappealing so we didn't try it (can't rate the food). Overall I would skip this place especially with there being so many better options down the sidewalk.

Frederick Social has a nice, casual atmosphere, with a variety of seating and a whole wall of self-serve beers and other beverages, and I've found the attendants to be very friendly.
