Underwhelmed by the flavor. The meat to sauce ratio was out of control. It was more like soup than butterchicken. Try to do better, especially for the price.

Horrible terrible worst restaurant Grace of IndiaI want to give negative rating but no option for that. So giving 1 ratingPlease avoid at all cost to visit this restaurant, pathetically service , bad taste of food. will die starving but will never eat this restaurant food, even they give money to eat/taste.we went 3 families and they prefer we share the plates, not providing individual dishes to each person.very bad food, feel like frozen food warm 2-3 times before serve us. We couldn't even finish what we ordered in-spite of being extremely hungry.very expensive onion, $4 for 3-4 slice of onion. if we count as per their charges then 1 onion = $12very beautiful interior but we can't eat that.In conclusion, I strongly advise potential diners to steer clear of grace of india unless they are prepared to endure rude and disrespectful treatment from the staff. There are countless other dining options available in the area where one can enjoy delicious food without sacrificing basic courtesy and respect.

The food doesn't taste as good as it used to..the food overall tasted bland...don't order their Chinese..not good..the chowmein had less salt..thick chewy noodles..nothing special...the chilli chicken was very tough....i saw lot of Americans..maybe they want to cater to them..for Indian palate not spicy at all..i had to ask for chillies on the side

Visited on a Wednesday night at 8:10 pm. Was disappointed we couldn't be seated given a closing time of 9. We were informed the kitchen was closing soon.

When he did the signature Indian head wobble I knew the food was going to be goodEverything I tried had a great taste (dine in):tandoori chicken, lamb biryani, saag paneer, shahi paneer, daal, garlic naan, onion kulcha, paratha, kheerDefinitely a wowPlace is very nice and clean, bathrooms included.Service was great. The man at the front is reserved but opens up when you talk to him.The atmosphere was cold (to be fair it’s 20 degrees Fahrenheit today). Otherwise it’s a pleasant interior.Slightly sterile because of the bright lights and led lights that stem from the bar.5/5 food4/5 service3/5 atmosphere4.5/5 overall because the interior is a bit of a deal breaker but the dishes are such a wow that it’s worth it. You’re immersed in the food here not the atmosphere.I drove 20 minutes to Urbana and will be coming back next time I want wow Indian food. Put this place on your list.

The biryani/fried rice dishes are good but the curries not so great. Portion size is not too big.

I'm not a fan of Indian food in the USA but this is the closest to the UK quality that I've had, chicken Madras was exceptional, side dishes were well executed, plus they have papadums. The spicing has the appropriate complexity and ingredients were first rate. I was very surprised how good it was.

We had lunch and they are offering a buffet. The food has great taste, seasoning, flavor, and freshness. The Naan had a fresh just made taste. Grace of India is now our goto for Indian food.

I had lunch with my family in this restaurant, I was very impressed with the service and the food they had on buffet. I would highly recommend their goat curry, bullet naan (if you can handle spice), samosa chaat and Ras malai( best I have ever eaten) .

I would give more stars, but the servers consistently make mild dishes stinky because they assume we cannot handle the heat. When we insisted that it should be spicy and extra spicy, it was lacking even mild heat. The dishes can be made the appropriate level of heat, as we occasionally get the proper level when ordering online. Even then, it seems there are times when the kitchen is purposely holding back on the heat level. If the ordering was consistent and the heat level reflected what was asked, this would be a great place to eat. Right now, it's marginally better than going down the street to the Spice Basket and making the dishes yourself.
