Popped in for some lunch near the creek. Great Selection of Beers and Drinks. Have an attached restaurant called Expressions we ordered the pepperoni siracha honey pizza and it was amazing. Bartender Joyce was very friendly and attentive. Great Atmosphere!

Stoped here after a hike for some beers and snacks. Enjoyed the $3 IPA pour of the day. The pretzel dogs and wings were delicious. The patio was nice and spacious

Great beer, amazing ambience, and most importantly, kind people. A severe thunderstorm was rolling in, and when I asked if I could bring my wife and two dogs so we wouldn’t get stuck in the storm, they said “absolutely” and added that they loved dogs. This meant the world to me.

Sour beer lovers, rejoice! Yummy! My new favorite east coast brewery! I have found a few idiom brews at different shops and restaurants and when I discovered the mothership was driving distance, it was a great launching point to explore Frederick. Large inside, pizza, seats along the canal / creek. Super friendly staff. Can’t go wrong losing a few hours here.

I went here with two other guys for lunch today and it was an excellent experience. The building is well laid out and has ample seating with good table separation. It's neat and clean in a nice, restored brick building.
The service is very friendly and helpful in this casual setting. The beer was excellent, with many beers on tap. We each got two 5-oz. pours, which was a nice size for sampling. Food service is at one end of the brewery, ordering at a kiosk or online, with multiple choices of salads, sandwiches, pizza, etc. The pizza was really good and one guy's sandwich was also.
It was too cold to sit outside, but the seating outside has a nice view of Carroll Creek. Overall, Idiom Brewing is a great place to meet friends and sample good beer. We'll be back!
