Two couples ate here on a Wednesday mid-afternoon in late October and enjoyed our meals. Two of us chose the Chicken Parmigiana and the other two chose the Chicken Piccata. Both dishes were excellent with enough left over for another meal at home. Of course, YMMV depending on how hungry you are, etc. Service was absolutely excellent. Cost for our parmigiana and piccata with two ice teas was $54 with tax less tip. We will definitely return again. Parking on the street was no issue for us due to the time of day, but locating a spot during busy times may be more difficult. The Frederick East All Saints Street Parking Garage is only a couple of blocks away if no spaces are available closer to the restaurant.

Ill Porto never disappoints me. The food is always fresh and well-prepared and the service is friendly and attentive. My favorite dish is the FRESH clams and linguine in their signature marinara sauce. Best white pizza I've ever had....with or without cheese. Portions are generous and the prices are moderate. This is the best Italian food in Frederick.
P.S. I wish they had a parking lot.

Had an incredible meal here tonight! My husband had veal Marsala that was fantastic! I had one of the specials that was lobster and shrimp over linguine with a creamy/lobster/sherry based sauce. It was insanely delicious. We each had a dessert - a cannoli that was perfect and tasty tiramisu. The staff is wonderful and they are all taking care of you. Il Porto is fantastic and so adorable! I felt like I was on vacation.

I ordered some dessert from them and all the portions were TINY, and the cannoli had barely ANY filling. Literally 80% of the shell was empty. Worst cannoli i’ve ever had in my life.

I’m extremely disappointed with the experience I had today when placing a pickup order. I was told I’d have to wait 25 minutes, but when I arrived, the restaurant had barely two people inside — clearly not busy.
When I asked to speak with the manager, I was told she wasn’t there. So I asked why the team was working so slow, and the employee literally said “yes” — as if that was a normal response. The attitude was rude, unprofessional, and honestly just disrespectful.
If this is how customers are treated for trying to support your business, I won’t be coming back — and I’ll be letting others know too.
