I'm only disappointed that I didn't discover this place sooner! The best lamb shawarma with toasted pita, tender lamb and perfect balance of vegetables and sauce. Lots of great items to purchase for home as well.

The store has middle eastern spices and teas at reasonable to competitive pricing. I got a lamb shawarma that was sweet, savory, and had a hint of spice that was just amazing. Good portion of meat in the wrap and all the flavors worked really well together

Hidden GEM!

Highly recommended, we had the chicken shawarma and the falafel sandwiches! Both tasted really good.
The zaatar Manoushe as well, freshly made by them and SO good too!

Love the owner, sandwiches and flavor. Go support this business - they are local, made love and way better than any chain moving in to Frederick. We had 2 sandwiches but I’ve also had their grape leaves before and they are delish.

I would never write a review for a place like this. I don't want it to be discovered and change for the worse. But this place is such a pleasant surprise, I can't help it. The food is excellent, fresh and authentic. Stop in and find out for yourself if it's the warm and friendly father and sons or the food/market staples that makes you return often.

Came here a lot when I was in college, and I always come back when I'm in the area! Everything on their menu is so fresh and delicious, and their falafel is easily the best in the DMV. The owner is so kind and personable, and his son's do a fantastic job at running the store. 10000/10 I always look forward to coming back :)

Call ahead! Had the falafel platter which comes as six falafels over rice with a side of salad, hummus, tahini, and two pitas. SO yummy! Also get a side container of baba ghanoush!! Outdoor seating is great. But this is a call ahead sort of place! If you order at the counter it’s going to take 30 minutes or more.

We love their food, super tasty! It's too bad there's no tables at this place, but taking out from them is always a treat.
