Love the owner, sandwiches and flavor. Go support this business - they are local, made love and way better than any chain moving in to Frederick. We had 2 sandwiches but I’ve also had their grape leaves before and they are delish.

I would never write a review for a place like this. I don't want it to be discovered and change for the worse. But this place is such a pleasant surprise, I can't help it. The food is excellent, fresh and authentic. Stop in and find out for yourself if it's the warm and friendly father and sons or the food/market staples that makes you return often.

Came here a lot when I was in college, and I always come back when I'm in the area! Everything on their menu is so fresh and delicious, and their falafel is easily the best in the DMV. The owner is so kind and personable, and his son's do a fantastic job at running the store. 10000/10 I always look forward to coming back :)

Call ahead! Had the falafel platter which comes as six falafels over rice with a side of salad, hummus, tahini, and two pitas. SO yummy! Also get a side container of baba ghanoush!! Outdoor seating is great. But this is a call ahead sort of place! If you order at the counter it’s going to take 30 minutes or more.

We love their food, super tasty! It's too bad there's no tables at this place, but taking out from them is always a treat.

I ordered a chicken shawarma and it was delicious. I love that it's a healthier version of a chicken shawarma. It's made with chicken breast (not thighs) and it's not drenched in garlic sauce. I'm a picky eater so me loving this is pretty huge! I took one star off because it's not too filling. I couldn't eat this on it's own and be satisfied. You would definitely need a side of fries or salad.
BTW- the owner is just as pleasant as everyone has mentioned! Very nice man
