This is the second time AI have been here and they have been closed. They now have a sign that says they are closed until further notice.

Definitely an unprofessional look. Why not update your information on Google if you are permanently closed.

They definitely need to update their Google hours drove 20 minutes and a sign is on the door saying they’re closed. SMH.

I tried to go today and there was a sign on the door saying they were closed indefinitely

I stood close to 5 minutes at the pick up counter with a young lady sitting just a few feet away playing games on her phone and having a speakerphone conversation. I even said hello when I initially walked in and was ignored but I patiently waited to see if they were going to see me and come help but was disappointed. The food was good but not nearly enough to justify the pricing. Overall disappointing first visit.

It’s Mid. Not authentic jerk

Our go to Caribbean restaurant in the area. Food is always good. People friendly staff.

We visited this restaurant because we wanted to support a local black owned restaurant.

Pros: This atmosphere of the restaurant has authentic Jamaican vibes. Food was on point. Menu selection was good. Bathroom was really clean. Price point for dinner was about what you would expect in this day and age. They do have lunch specials that are less expensive.

Oxtail - 5 stars! It was on point!!!

Cons: we didn’t really get a warm greeting from the first waitress we had; it’s almost as though they are more used to carryout because it took her awhile to even bring us a menu or table settings. The second waitress was much friendlier and helpful

Spice level- I hesitate to list this because I know Jamaican level spice is different than American spice but even with that said I asked whether stuff was spicy before ordering it, especially after the first thing I ordered for my 10 year old was too spicy and even the salmon burger came out spicy after they told me it wasn’t. Again, I don’t personally mind spice but just be aware that most of the stuff we ordered was spicy, even when they said it wasn’t.

Mac-n-cheese - it looked good but after tasting it, it was a 1star. Even my toddler wouldn’t eat it and it was on the cold side. It needs work.

Overall we will def be back for the oxtail and try some other things on the menu.

Food was very good and nice local spot. Our group ordered the brown stew chicken, oxtails, curry goat and curry chicken as well as the mac and cheese. Coconut bread was also warm and delicious. Very friendly staff.

I ordered the jerked wings to go and was quite disappointed. The wings were kinda dry and they were drenched in sauce, which seemed like it was the Lawrys jerk marinade. I was hoping for authentic jerked wings. At least the wing size was decent.

Food was too spicy

I ordered jerked chicken and it is horrible. It taste like pure salt and the chicken and rice are very dry I demand a refund…
