Look no further, I can confidently say this is the best Thai food in Maryland. My family loves Thai food and we have been to over 20 different spots. But this one is the clear choice. We started coming here a year or so back and now we come here almost every week. The food, the atmosphere, and the staff make it a great experience always. I don’t normally write reviews, but today was my parents anniversary, and they made dinner feel amazing. They brought drinks and desserts for them for no charge, making them feel very special today . We will definitely be back again next week! Also this place is definitely friendly to the deaf community🤟

A perfect date spot! Love their deconstructed Thai iced tea (with ice cubes made from tea so it doesn't get diluted), although the paper straws are a miss. The braised beef Massaman curry is definitely the menu highlight here, they make the best version we've had anywhere, and my gf is addicted (and she doesn't like very spicy food).
I do like spicy food, and they can still bring the heat when you ask for it! Portions are generous enough to have leftovers.
The mango sticky rice, when available (in season) is incredible and my favorite dessert.

My spouse and I visited Kittiwat for a dine-in experience after enjoying their delivery food in the past. Unfortunately, our visit was extremely disappointing.
We were told to seat ourselves, given menus without any interaction, and left waiting for over 20 minutes with barely any water. Plates were dropped off as an afterthought, and no one checked on us. Meanwhile, a group of five who arrived after us was greeted warmly, assisted with seating, and received immediate service.
The contrast in treatment was glaring. As a retired veteran, I value respect and fairness, and this experience felt dismissive and unacceptable. We ultimately walked out and found another restaurant rather than continue to be ignored.
I will not return to Kittiwat, nor recommend it to anyone seeking Thai food in Frederick.

We enjoyed the food so much, we went back in less than a week! Both times we had shrimp pad thai and calamari. The food was hot and tasty. The price was fair compared to other Thai joints. I plan on trying the drunken noodles next 😛

If you love Spice, then this is one of the best Thai restaurants I've ever been to. Staff is friendly and fun, and the food is awesome. My go to is the Spicy Thai Basil with chicken a d my wife's fav is Herbal chicken. Both at spice level 3 out of 5. Anyone we've introduced to this place is a repeat customer.
