This isn’t a dine-in restaurant, it’s strictly a carryout spot. I called ahead to place my order, and when I arrived, my food was ready to go. Parking was super easy (right in front), which made pickup convenient. I had my child with me, so the only downside was there’s no restroom available, but service was quick and efficient overall which I loved.
I ordered potato leaves with pounded yam and dry rice. The portion sizes were huge, honestly one of the largest I’ve seen for a carryout. The potato leaf soup was flavorful and had a mix of meats (looked like chicken, smoked turkey neck, beef, and maybe goat). I eat all of those, so I didn’t mind, but next time I’ll probably ask what meats come in the soup just to be sure. The dry rice was recommended by a friend, not my personal favorite.
As a Sierra Leonean, it’s always nice to try dishes from other West African cultures. Based on my order and the pepper sauce I received, I believe this establishment has Liberian influences, which I really enjoyed. I’m looking forward to coming back to try their jollof rice and torborgee next time.
Service was polite but very straightforward & no small talk, just a quick greeting and handoff. The atmosphere is basic and a little outdated, but that’s to be expected for a quick grab-and-go type of place. If you want authentic food without the wait or fuss of dining in, this is a great choice. I’ll definitely be back to try more items from their menu.

This has to be my favorite restaurant to go to when I’m in Fredrick. The food is too good for me to wait to take a picture. So far I’ve had the red snapper, jollof rice, pepper soup, and goat pepper soup and they’ve all been amazing. 10/10 and I will continue to go back.

One of my coworkers bought this on their lunch break & let me have some. I immediately went and ordered my own after my shift. Absolutely obsessed. I’ll be back!

Pleasant environment, food was worth the wait. I got Egusi and fufu. The fufu was cooked perfectly. Going back again this week.
It’s a nice family owned restaurant. The owners are very nice. I love their fried fish and plantains. The desserts and other sides are delicious. I always get the degue. The jollof here is good.

Le Mandingue has become my go-to spot for an incredible food experience, and I find myself addicted to their jollof rice and dibi. I visit religiously every week, sometimes even twice a week, because I simply can’t get enough. The goat meat is always tender, and the jollof rice is bursting with flavor. The portions are impressively large, yet I somehow manage to finish every bite because it’s just that good. Le Mandingue never disappoints, and their consistently delicious food keeps me coming back for more.

The food was really good, had good portion size and was flavorful and seasoned well. Only issue we had was that the fish was fried too hard which made it a little tough.

This is the only place I go for Egusi soup and Fufu! Every other place I tried is not flavorful and as expensive as this meal is, it needs to have all the flavor.

Can we just start with amazing! The service was phenomenal. They were so kind on the phone and so kind in person. I just knew I was going to get some good tasting food here. I ordered the goose soup with the foo foo and a ginger root drink. That ginger root drink is so, darn good! Matter fact, I’m gonna go ahead and order me another one tomorrow. Who is so flavorful the energy is on point. The location is perfect. There’s easy parking. I just love a location because it’s only two minutes from my house. You can feel love cooked in the food. I definitely recommend this place 10 out of 10. :)
