I drive more than an hour to get to this grocery store. The vegetables and fruits are very fresh with a great variety. There is a great variety of many "usual" American goods, not to mention the huge variety of Asian goods for which it is known.

(Don Chicken in the Frederick MD H Mart) This would have been a 5 Star review two months ago. When Don Chicken first opened, it was fantastic! The Chicken pieces were big and juicy. In the last month or two the size of the chicken pieces have become very small. Although the food taste great. The sizes of the orders is far from worth the cost.

It took 1.5hr for them to make the sushi on a Wednesday evening, which is ridiculous. They only have 1 person making the rolls. So be prepared to wait if you want to order food here.

Great selection and stock of produce but some of it is not the best value such as green chilies by weight or onions. I purchased two young Thai coconuts at $2.50 each that are $5 each at Sprouts or Safeway. H*Mart has a small assortment of Indian spices, snacks, and foods but you're better off at an Indian grocery store.

I never tried their food but I heard it's really good and I've been there once and by looking in the inside is amazing.The service is great and when I said hi in Korean and she even responded to me.The ambiance is very wonderful and it's like I've been talking about it all day me wanting to go back again.It showed some kpop bands in items like BTS and other people I know.The H Mart is like the best place that I've ever been to.

It's a grocery store. What is there to write about? Well! I have been to 3 Hmarts in NOVA and MoCo, but this one is by far the cleanest. It doesn't get that crazy foot traffic so it's easier to maintain. It's not overly crowded and they have fruits and vegetables well stocked. Their food court is newly renovated and large and spacious and the food isn't bad at all. I think this place checks all the criteria for a good grocery store. The one thing I can complain about is how far it is from everything. It's a bit isolated in a shopping center that I don't know what else I can buy from. I only come here for Hmart. That's about it. It's close to the highway to head back. It's a bit hard to turn into, but doable.

Every time we have gotten food it has taken longer and longer to get it. I think their chef quit because it took 50 minutes this time and tasted off.
Sushi was solid. Ordering process was a bit confusing; however, the order was made fairly quickly. Went on a Monday afternoon. Would definitely go back! Good quality sushi rolls for a reasonable price.
H Mart was amazing! We both ordered our hot food from different vendors. It took us a minute to realize we ALL order food from the main kiosk.Our food was hot and fresh!We then went on to shopping! SO FUN! They have everything!I'd be remiss to talk about their bakery! So fresh and delicious!

This Hmart provides a good number of solid food choices. We walked through a number of options before settling on the Jjolmyun and the Mapo tofu options. Both were excellent but I'd say the jjolmyun wasn't that outstanding. Mapo tofu was a 4/5, a solid choice that would be in the middle of the pack for take out Chinese food. All in all, I'd try out the food if you're in the area but nothing that spectacular to pay a visit.

Quality is fine but always take too long. My daughter loves sushi and always orders a Monster Roll and Advocado Roll and it takes on average 20 minutes. Maybe acceptable in a sit down restaurant but in an H MART food court where average time is half that in all the other stands? Last time, it took 40 mins for the same 2 rolls. Definitely the last time I'm going unless I have time to kill.
