My husband & I went in to get beer & crab dip but ended leaving & went to Anchor Bar! We sat at the bar for a little over 10 minutes & never even got acknowledged!! There were only 5 other people sitting at the bar & 2 bartenders. An employee came to the bar & ordered food from the bartender for themselves & we were sitting there b4 she even walked up to the bar & were never served.

Being in and around the Horse Game for 27 Years. I’ve seen a lot of Off Track Betting facilities. I can’t tell you how fortunate I feel having Long Shots in Frederick. The Clarion is a palace of Great fun. Where can you find a Sports Book, OTB, Billiard room and restaurant in one camp. The atmosphere is set by the most over qualified manager MARK. No matter how little of a problem, questions or concern you might have. He will give you his prompt attention to clarify. The wait staff is excellent. I would like to comment on Mr. Biddinger’s review. He took Great exception to a Fixture of our Local OTB. He dentigrated (WHAT ARE YOU NUTS ) Allen’s Name. Allen is a Very Passionate Horse Player. Who not only goes way back to the Early CRACKED CLAW Days but is famous for giving us a Litany of Quotes. Sure he might drop a Cuss word here or there. At the same time He’s the first to tell you if Children are Present.Listen Biddinger YOU’LL LEARN !! Note: The Clarion has the ability to serve you for Weddings or Conventions in their massive Ballrooms.

Wheelchair accessibility: No steps or weird areas. The bathroom down the hall has a very nice handicap stall with sink inside it.

Pretty cool spot. Surprised it’s not more popular. Great spot to kick it and watch any games/races.Was able to watch the Ravens give a beating on their big screens. It’s a 4x4 of 52” I think. So 16 monitors in total.Ordered a cheesesteak and wings. Bucket of beer.$54~Cheesesteak was good. No lettuce options or anything. But the cheesesteak was tasty enough that it gets a 7.5 or 8/10. Fries were fries. Nothing to write home about. 7/10.Wings were good size. Breaded though for a dry rub was a bit surprising. 7/10, juicy and size saved the rating.Bartenders were nice.Didn’t use the betting machines. Can’t give feedback on them.

It can be a nice place for drinks if you sit at the bar. It has TVs galore! Sports and horse racing.
Went to check out BetFred on a Sunday and decided to get something to eat at Long Shot. I ordered a Diet Coke but the fountain mix was not working. For lunch I got the fried buffalo chicken with old bay fries which was great! Plenty of room to watch any game that is playing and friendly staff. For now it’s a nice hidden gem but sure it will get busy as the NFL season moves on.

Not a fan. Asked if they could break a $5 bill so I could use the vending machine and was ignored. They want you to order from the menu I guess. Then why have a vending machine?

The quality of the service is very poor and the employees have an attitude they don't have good customer service and relation the quality of the customers is very low class very bad management from the Maryland Jockey Club

I've never been to a place like this before, but im glad i went. The food is reasonably priced it tastes like my grandmother made it, and the atmosphere was amazing. The servers were so sweet.
