This experience with Los Trios was deeply disappointing. We found a cockroach inside our food, clearly visible inside sealed packaging. The food arrived in a sealed zip-lock bag that was placed inside another sealed bag, making it evident the issue did not occur after delivery.

When we contacted the restaurant, the response was inconsistent and unprofessional. At first, they offered to replace the entire meal, but later called back and retracted that offer, saying they would only replace the specific item that contained the insect. Given the nature of the issue, accepting a partial replacement was not reasonable or appropriate.

What made this worse was the lack of empathy or concern for food safety. Instead of prioritizing customer health and trust, the situation was handled defensively and poorly.

Based on how this was managed, I would not recommend ordering from Los Trios.

Food safety concern

I ordered food from Los Trios and found a Cockroach inside my food. As shown in the photos, the food was inside a sealed zip-lock bag, which was then placed inside another sealed bag. The object is clearly visible inside the sealed packaging, meaning this did not happen after delivery.

When I contacted the restaurant, instead of showing concern, the staff was rude and dismissive and tried to blame us, suggesting the object came from somewhere else. That explanation makes no sense given the food was sealed when received, which is clearly documented in the photos.

They refused to resend the order or take responsibility, and there was no apology or concern for food safety. Mistakes can happen, but how a restaurant responds matters. This was handled poorly and unprofessionally.

Based on this experience alone, I would not recommend Los Trios.

DELICIOUS!!! Frederick Platter shredded chicken was so good. Chicken was perfection. Best refried beans Ive ever had! Moist and spiced like Ive never had beans spiced. Guacamole was fresh and sweet and flavorful.

Chicken and steak fajitas came out sizzling, smelled fantastic! Really really good!!

Horchata was sweet, cinnamony, and refreshing! Perfect end to perfect meal!! They make it in house.

Also very clean. Friendly service. We came close to closing and they even wiped the walls.

Definitely come here and eat. You will not regret it!

We have ordered from here twice. Food was excellent. There are some serious management issues. I received an update through Grubhub five minutes after order was placed that 3 dollars extra was added to my cost. I called them about this and the management told me that the prices on the menu aren’t right, so they added cost. He refunded me and apologized. Based on this, I told him I would not leave a negative review. Well, when the food arrived my fajitas didn’t come with tortillas and my wife’s mango chicken salad had no mango. Charge customers extra, then don’t provide all of the items ordered? Hmmmmm… might not be in business too long with that model. Get it together.

I randomly stoped here while traveling down 295 and all I can say is wow. Some of the best tacos I’ve eaten on the east coast. Don’t let the exterior of the building scare you! Friendly staff and amazing food

I ordered pupusas and a chicken sandwhich this evening. The food was good and ready on time. The watercress on my sandwhich was limp and old but otherwise the sandwich was good.

The problem came when my husband picked up the food and was charged again for the order. Seamless/grubhub required me to pay for the order before it was submitted to the restaurant. My husband didn't realize that it had already been paid and paid again. When the problem was brought to this businesses attention it became all our fault! According to my husband they even told him that we needed to communicate better. But here's the thing... if they had looked up the order (they told my husband they couldn't...which can't be true or they would be giving away free food left and right.) They would have seen that it was paid. Not sure if he will actually get a refund, they said they would call him back but we shall see... I'm not happy with this place and I highly doubt I'll be back even though the food is really good.

Clean and cozy atmosphere. Food is great. Complimentary chips and salsa given, even for take-out. Friendly smiling staff helped me with my order. Will order from them again, and have already (^_^)
