Lucky Corner Vietnamese Cuisine at Westview

I came to this restaurant to get Pho and I specifically asked for no Jalapeño because I can't have them. I was told the order would take 10 minutes. I ended up waiting 30 minutes for my food, there were no bean sprouts in the bag, there were jalapeños in the bag and didn't even get a proper Pho spoon. Essentially I was not able to eat the Pho because the jalapeños were in the bag with the mint and lime. The host, Chris, who took my order was wonderful, he did an excellent job and he DID put the order in correctly and offered me a free drink for having to wait so long. I will NOT be ordering from here again.

Anyone ordering online/takeout should read this.

I felt the experience picking up takeout tonight was extremely deceptive. I have been a frequent customer here for a long time, a very long time, even before they moved to their new location. 1 sometimes 2 nights a week I get food from here. I know what your portions are guys. I have seen them quite often.

To have the hostess try to tell me this was "extra" is a blatant lie. And yes I showed it to her - who doubled down on the lie. I then requested her to get whoever else was there/in charge to come check this and even the lady who came out tried to pass it as "extra" but she definitely knew. Guys, I have sat down inside and at the bar and tabels and ordered the exact same thing, many many times. My family has brought home takeout from here and I showed them the same picture and asked them if I was wrong - they said no. I have seen regular and I have seen extra. So to try to convince anyone this "extra", like I'm the idiot customer who doesn't know better, wasn't ok with me.

This was an attempt to charge extra money for nothing added, pretend that the customer doesn't know what they're talking about, and I guess hope the person doesn't check their order before leaving.

$30 for this by the way (Pho broth not included in picture).

So many good vegan options! Anything with the red basil curry is divine, we had the tofu with eggplant as well as the tofu with thick rice noodle, so good!! We also had the veggie pho with the veg broth which is so flavorful, easily one of the best I’ve ever had.

The service was great too! We came toward the end of a busy Sunday lunch but were sat immediately and everything ordered came out promptly. Our server was very kind and understood our vegan requests with no problem. Highly recommend!

Hey, just wanted to share something that happened today when I went to pick up my food. I ordered online, and when I got there, the host already confirmed my order was in the works and repeated my name back to me. But then this older Asian lady came up and asked for my name, so I told her. She went back, came up again, and said she couldn’t find my name. No biggie, I showed her my order on my phone. She went back again, and when she came back, she asked me to confirm my order as if it was a DoorDash order, even though it was just a pickup.

Honestly, it felt unfair, like she didn’t trust me. The whole thing felt off, especially over something as small as egg rolls. I don’t steal, and it really rubbed me the wrong way. It just felt like I was being treated differently for no reason. I will not be returning which is a shame because I just ordered dinner the night before and order pho ga weekly there but do not appreciate being treated the way I did. Do better.

I absolutely love this restaurant. So delicious and service is excellent. We loved the Lemongrass Chicken and Coconut Rum Runner. Also, not pictured the summer rolls with shrimp only and pho ga. Absolutely delicious.

Lucky Corner is one of my boyfriend's and my favorite restaurants. Take out is a special treat for us now that inflation has made everything so expensive. However, I wasn't feeling well last night so we got some pho - which is way better than regular chicken soup when you're sick, imo. I wanted something spicy to help clear my congestion and tried the Spicy Beef Pho for the first time last night, and boy did it deliver. I probably should have tried the pho before I added the chili sauce it comes with and added a little at a time instead of dumping it all in. It was so spicy I couldn't finish it (even the steam coming off of it was spicy), but it was exactly what I needed. It cleared me out and I feel so much better today. I saved the leftovers and added some coconut milk to it while re-heating it for brunch to offset the heat, which worked perfectly. Irresponsible use of chili sauce on my part aside, the Spicy Beef Pho is now my favorite and I think my boyfriend and I will be treating ourselves to Lucky Corner more in the future.

I order 3 phos 2 steak and 1 chicken. The chicken was chicken however the steak was not steak and I called to complain and the guy try to explain what I got was what I order. It was not! The steak was white and same texture as brisket. Now I know steak should not be white and this is what I explain to the guy. I was too far away to travel back with the order and the guy was not helping. (Manager) Plus the broth had NO FLAVOR. I have had authentic pho and this was a fast food version of it!

Visited with a couple of friends. We each had different dishes, and they were all delicious! The wait staff was friendly and did a great job. I also highly recommend the teriyaki chicken and the chocolate truffle dessert~

They did a nice job at the environment inside and great lighting. I eat mostly organic grass fed meat. There there dumplings and crispy rolls I was not a fan of and not sure what kind of meat it was. There veggie roll was ok. The best part was the sauce. The chicken curry was my favorite and amazing. I drank all the juice. There mussels where really good and I would get again. There noodles with garlic and tofu was no good. I tasted no garlic and the tofu tasted over cooked and or not fresh. I would definitely go back for the curry chicken and mussels.

Best pho broth I’ve ever had. I got the steak, but didn’t care for it too much. The broth, noodles and veggies made up for it. Also, the summer rolls with peanut sauce were delicious!
