The shepherds pie was excellent. We visited for lunch on a Saturday and there was no wait. The atmosphere was comfortable and pleasant. I look forward to visiting Maggo's again.

I have been there a few times. Most importantly, the service is good, and the waitstaff are friendly. I felt welcomed. The prices are reasonable, and the facilities are well-kept. It is certainly one of the better local pubs in town. They also make a decent cocktail. The food left a little to be desired... a group of friends tried a variety of items (crabby fries, pizza, shrimp, I think the fish & chips- some sort of fried fish- and something else I can't recall). Consensus was that it was okay, just not much flavor. Still, when you consider all factors, they're a solid choice, and I feel like there was overall value. According to their website, it looks like they will have a new menu coming soon, which I will go back to check out. I'd say, for now, it's a good spot to grab a drink or two and an app.

Fun place to eat a crab cake sandwich and have a pint of Guinness. Service was great and the owner was kind enough to give us a history of both the pub and her many trips to Ireland.

Unknown……… why you ask. Aug 2021 and feb 2022. Unable to get served without proof of a “ jab a hut” card. Clot shot. Whatever you call it. If an establishment would not allow me and my BF to get a drink or food w/o proof of vaccination…….. I will never support that establishment.
Wonderful little Irish pub in downtown Frederick. The food is mostly on the traditional side but there are Maryland favorites as well. The staff was friendly and fast. There are also good and varied selections of beers and whiskies. They had EPL on the TVs during my last visit, which was also fun.

They do not serve ppl with dogs OUTSIDE SEATING. Seriously? It's 2025. I have a small dog who is quiet. They had ZERO outside customers. Will never attempt this place again with NO dog. Place sux

Went with a group. Fun atmosphere. I had fish and chips which was a good as anywhere I have eaten. Others had cobb salad and Rueben. Everyone enjoyed!
