Wonderful food and drink! Service is fantastic! Killer Fries are a must and the brunch is always delicious. The Irish coffee is a favorite as well. We stop into Magoo’s quite a bit and we’ve never been disappointed.

I was reluctant to go into this restaurant as the reviews were not good about the service here. Yes, I can see where they might think the waiter and owner were rude, they're just a little standoffish. The crab soup was excellent, the beer was excellent, the sandwich with apples, Brie, and turkey was good. Lots of fun games to play while there and fun things to look at. Will definitely go back.

Wandering around Frederick on a Saturday afternoon, bar hopping. Tried Magoos for the first time. Empty. 2 locals there when we arrived. Otherwise empty. Bartender was nice at first and then when she found out where we lived, she immediately got an attitude. We talked about Ireland and I convey known family history. She preceded to her phone then challenged me about my history. Who does this? I know what little I know. Ordered a couple apps. Mussels, salty. Fries, just ok. After leaving here we went to Bushwallers and had a much better experience. Will not return to Magoos.
