Matsutake Sushi & Steak

We had an excellent birthday dinner for my twin boys the other night. Had a very brief wait for a table to have hibachi and then ended up having the hibachi table all to ourselves. The restaurant was clean. The food was delicious and filling, and all the staff was very friendly.

After we left my 14-year-old son realized he left his wallet there and we were almost home. I called as soon as we figured that out, and they had the wallet and held it for us till the next day for pick up. Everything was in it that was originally in it and we were very grateful. It’s good to know the staff and managers are all honest people.

I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone that wants yummy hibachi and a great show! We will definitely be back.

My favorite place to get sushi and hibachi in Frederick. Great gluten free Hibachi and gluten free sushi with GF soy sauce. For California rolls I get shrimp instead of imitation crab to make I gluten free and it’s delicious. High quality rice and avocado in the sushi. BEST SUSHI IN FREDERICK😊🍣🍱

I got the hibachi here and it was a delicious delight! This was my first experience with hibachi and I loved every second of it. All parts of the meal were delicious and exciting. The chef was so fun and highly skilled. The portion sizes and price were very reasonable. I cannot wait to go back!

I went here for dinner and ordered combination fried rice chicken and shrimp with veggies. It was awful even after sending it back to the kitchen it came out a second time still overcooked and disgusting. I was very disappointed and probably will not go back and do not recommend. The protein was absolutely overcooked to the point that it was dry, hard like it was cooked some time ago or possibly even thawed from being cooked and frozen it ruined the entire meal. My bill was $153.00 with 18% gratuity the bill was $180. Everything was tasteless not all worth the money.

While the hibachi offerings can be pricey, the food is good, and the serving sizes are generous. The staff is friendly.

food was mid, service was pretty good only thing i didn't like about the food was they didn't describe it that well and they could've cooked it a little bit more, the place was amazing and clean as well

All food tasted the same; sampled a lot of others’ food selection with whom I was dining.. a large group. Service and hospitality was great!!
