I've been going to May's Seafood for as long as I can remember. Whether you're getting steamed hardshells to go or eating at the restaurant, you'll have awesome food and be greeted like family. I have long-since moved from Frederick, but anytime I go back home I make a pit stop at May's for great food, drinks, and good times.

Great atmosphere — a very local place, not touristy at all. I recommend sitting in the open-air area of the restaurant because it has a beachy vibe. The staff is amazing, and the service is excellent. There’s background music, and I suggest going on Thursdays and Mondays when they offer special options at half price.

My experience at May's Seafood was noteworthy. We were able to get a seat within minutes. Our waitress was very attentive. As we poured over all of the options and prices, we needed a bit more time. Instead of forgetting us for 30 minutes like other restaurants, she came over very quickly to take our order. We got the soft shell crab sandwich, the shrimp platter, clam chowder, and hush puppies. Everything tasted amazing. I would come here again and recommend that others give...
