Love everything about McClintock Distilling!
Great place
Ok seriously, this place is amazing! Todd was our tasting guide and he was very knowledgeable, professional and took his time with our tasting! Highly recommend the Rye! Most visit!
excellent informative tour with Todd especially enjoyed learning the historical background and the tasting
Todd was awesome when I walked in on Tuesday and found the bar closed for the day.
I walked out with a bottle of Gardeners Gin after trying several of the options on hand. His knowledge helped me find something I liked, and converted my understanding of gin; expanding my horizons in the process.
All in all, a wonderful experience and one I’d recommend to anyone looking to try gin and/or whiskey.
Great atmosphere, great drinks, great service
Great venue with awesome spirits
The distillery tour and tasting was a fabulous experience! I learned so much and really respect the heart and mission of this company! Wish I lived in Maryland because they have wonderful products-highly recommend you visit them when in Frederick!!!

Felt like a vip at the tasting at McClintok. Beautiful setting with doggie friend included. They have a wide selection of spirits and a really excellent quality. Loved their commitment to sustainability.

If you like gin- you’ll love the Gardner’s Gin!!
“The minds behind McClintock Distillery(in downtown Frederick)may not have invented whiskey or gin, but, fueled by creativity, they're changing the way distilled spirits are made and enjoyed. As a practical first step, its owners Tyler Hegamyer and Braeden Bumpers stipulate the use of 100% organic certified ingredients, offering customers a product that's free of pesticides and chemicals and that supports small, family-run farms. From this, they create small-batch, limited-release spirits that bring forth both local and traditional elements, such as Forager, which they bill as a "new-world style" gin whose flavor is inspired by herbs native to the Appalachians next door.”
Katie was our host for our tasting. She was superb and repped the brand exquisitely. From entry, presentation, tour, distillery, to tasting, this place is a work of crafted art.
A hidden gem, check out their McClintock’s Back Bar. So many wonderful creative crafted high quality cocktails. It will have you coming back for more. You will be glad you stopped in.
