This is my 3rd time being here. Food is good. But today changed my view of this place. Food was good. Server was nice. She handed me the check. I opened it up and load and behold I found a baby roach just sitting on my receipt... thats pretty gross. I squished it with the receipt circled it.
The food is excellent, the staff was professional. My only reason why I give this place three stars is the fact I saw a roach crawl out of one of the wall art. I can only imagine where they are hiding. Please proceed with caution when eating here. This place needs a thorough cleaning.
The food and drinks were amazing!! Tamales were the best I've had. Burrito and chimichanga were cooked perfectly. The food has so much flavor. The waiter was very polite and gave us great service. It's a shame this place will be closing in Oct as it is the best Mexican in Frederick. Really hope they can find a new location quickly.
Before 2020 this restaurant was great and was a 5-star restaurant, now it's no good. It's like someone else had brought this restaurant and used their name. Will not be going back. Also, want add service was not good.
Traveled from Georgia to see my boyfriend. After walking through downtown, we visited Tournament City Games and had a bite to eat at Mexicali Cantina. The staff was so nice! They brought out a dish of ice water for our puppy and when we asked for a side of shredded chicken, they gave us a whole plateful. ? She had an amazing day and so did we. The enchiladas and chimichangas were so good ?
The family celebrated my sister's birthday. Great time and food!!! While enjoying an evening cocktail ?
10/10 hands down! Fun and personal service with delicious apps and entrées! It’s a MUST if you haven’t been!
10/10 would recommend. best salsa and guacamole we've ever had. service was phenomenal as well!
Chips so thin non greasy salsa great taste with heat found me a great new spot must try there mojitos ?
Good food, but service was not. Very empty when we went (3 tables w people) but 5 wait staff floating around. Took very long time to get drinks, food, and their attention when we needed something. Food was not warm when it came. May have just been an off night?

Guacamole is top notch, entrees were also delicious. The rice served with enchiladas was buttery (?) and had a nice herby flavor. Would visit again!
We made reservations for 13 people. Got there and they had the table ready for us. We were in a room by ourselves. They were prompt, friendly and on their game. Everyone really enjoyed their food and for 13 people to all agree that it was really good is tough. I will continue to support this restaurant!
We'll say this place was delicious. Definitely become one of my favorite or the favorite Mexican restaurant. And they have the best salsa and chips in town.
Our server was great, shrimp burrito was OK, didn't really taste the lobster sauce. Margaritas were great! Liked the ambience. Cute place. Thank you for being open on a Tuesday night!
Just a great overall dining experience, our server was on point, never waited on drinks, chips or salsa. Their house frozen margaritas are very good and strong. The selection of Mexican, Cuban, and Spanish food are all tremendous. Why waste your time driving downtown to fight parking to find a Mexican restaurant. Just doesn't get any better.
