We stopped by Moby Dick’s in Buckeystown for lunch with my husband. We ordered the Combo 3, which came with lamb, a ground beef kebab, rice, and salad. The place was fairly busy since it was lunchtime, and the food itself was good.
The only downside was the service. The staff weren’t attentive to customers dining in. When people left, they didn’t clean the tables, and new customers had to sit at dirty tables.
Overall, the food was tasty and filling, but the service and cleanliness could definitely be improved.

Moby Dick was one of my go-to locations for delivery or takeout. Unfortunately, some recent changes have put this location from top of my delivery preferences to the bottom:
1. New takeout containers. This restaurant has very little seating, so the vast majority of their food is to go. However, the restaurant recently introduced a new takeout container that places the kebab, rice, and salad into the same container. Combining the warm and cold food essentially means that your salad is warm by the time you get home, which is not tasty or particularly good. I've tried adding order notes to please package the salad separately, but the restaurant ignores it. I will probably not be ordering from here until they either honor my notes or change this takeout container.
2. Fewer sauces. Around the time the restaurant introduced the new takeout containers, it also cut back to only one (yoghurt) sauce with most orders. The green chutney is $1 extra. Given the current very high prices for the food, this is a bit too much. Unfortunately, the chutney was the sauce that really added flavor to the dishes.
Overall, Moby Dick is expensive and recent changes have made it not worth my time when I'm ordering takeout.

I had a disappointing experience at this location. The wait time was way too long, even though I only ordered two kabobs and two dolmas as sides. The dolmas tasted off—almost fizzy, like they’d been soaked in soda water. Definitely not fresh. Overall, this location doesn’t compare to the Urbana one, which is much better in both quality and service. The owners of this location needs to look into their quality and service time.

Nowhere close to the $30 value that you pay. Food didn’t taste fresh, pita wasn’t anything like a normal pita I’ve had before. I will not be back

Absolute trash food. Not sure how this place has almost 5 stars. Also, very expensive for what you are getting. I will 100% never come back here.

Food was outstanding! The employees working didnt really seem to want to be there (dont get me wrong no one wants to work) but there was no liveliness to them or the location, very quiet and a very small dinning area... the lady who took our order was very nice and knowledgeable, her counter part on the other hand needs to work on food safety regulations, came out of the bathroom touching his face, clothes, kept touching his beard etc without washing his hands before handling food items. But the food was still very good!

Not bad for a chain restaurant. I have eaten there quite a few times in the last 10 years.
