I have always liked eating at the MOD Pizza in the Buckeystown area. The staff used to be friendly, generous with toppings, and careful when preparing food. Lately things have changed. The place is not as clean, and when I say vegetarian, sometimes meat gets mixed in with other ingredients. This can be a serious problem for people with allergies or for religious reasons.
I also noticed recently that some toppings like basil and roasted garlic were not available, along with a few others.
I spoke to the manager about it, but the response did not feel like they were truly listening. They said they serve everyone and will do as much as possible, but it came across more as an excuse than a solution.
It makes me wonder why things were handled so well before. I have noticed the staff is different now, and that might be part of the reason.
Always a good place to come and eat some pizza. What's nice is that you get to customize your own pizza with any and all of the toppings that you desire. And yes, these are personal sized pizzas, but they are a decent size.

Got off work, wanted some pizza, was gonna go home and chow on some za. Unfortunately, as much as I love Mod Pizza, today was really disappointing. Whole crew was visibly uninterested to serve us. It’s not an issue until they mess up your order. Asked for extra bacon, got 2 extra pepperoni slices. Asked for balsamic glaze, got barbecue sauce instead. Dude pulling the pizza out of the oven almost dropped the pizza. Cashier got confused when I said “one mod, one thick crust, one side salad” and almost charged me for 2 thick crusts. Idk what was going on back there, but it was disappointing this time around.

Love this place. You can make your pizza healthier than normal or a decadent cheat meal. They even have a vegan cheese option and salads.
My gf gets a mini pizza and a side salad, so you can be somewhat healthy. I got the mod pizza, the medium one, all for myself. The crust is thin enough that it's crispy and not overly filling.
A GREAT variety of toppings and your pizza is cooked fresh in a few minutes in their giant oven. Nice sauce toppings including HOT HONEY! Trust me. Try it.
Every worker that I have encountered here has been super friendly.
They also have crushed ice! Bonus. Good selections of sweet and unsweet tea. Coke products are in the soda machine, and they have bottles of soda, chocolate milk, and apple juice boxes for kids.
