The outdoor hangout area here is so great!!! Great place for families to hang out. Plenty of Adirondack chairs, side tables, larger tables, and picnic tables. There's an outdoor stage where they hold live music often and a working fountain the children congregate to play.

Oh, and the beer is decent, too ?

It's a fun place but the only non-alcoholic beer is in cans and no soft drinks for sober folks

Monocacy brewing is a great place for a cold and tasty pint. The staff is always friendly, knowledgeable and quick. They only serve beer so you don’t have one person behind the bar having to make cocktails and pour beer. They have a decent inside seating area and plenty of outdoor seating. They have events such as food and beer pairings. We did an ice cream and beer parking which was an awesome and fun experience. My favorite beer here is ghost of the ice cream man which is named because this building used to be an ice cream production plant. If you’re in town trying Frederick’s many beers, you have to try this spot!

Love the vibe here. Really encourages outdoor sipping with the mature shade trees and multiple seating options. You can even bring your own chairs and/or gazebos to set up outside, if you're planning the day here ? For those who don't enjoy a family-friendly atmosphere, be forewarned that lots of kids are running around. Never bothers me because I've been there personally. Tons of activities to keep the kids entertained (outdoor games, board games, etc). Favorite beers so far are Hyperion's Chaos and Ghost of the Ice Cream Man. Hubby's was Hyperion as well. We'll definitely visit again. With friends and plans next time!

Beer was ok. Place outside was nice but traffic kind of took away from the mood of the place. Sorry, not on my recommended list.

Had a nice Helles and a slightly hoppy pilsner. Nice seating outside and Saturday afternoon live band.

Delightfully small brewery, friendly staff with an interesting selection of beers. Enjoyed the atmosphere and beers. typically they have 8 to 10 beers on tap, and something for everyone. most recent visit offered a great ipa , porter, ales, etc. Lots of special events and activities on the weekend. Porch area recently opened.

The beer was good and reasonably priced. My first experience with a Graf (cider and beer) that was reminiscent of a sour to me. Great service and a decent amount of indoor and outdoor seating. Food truck and live music on-site when I visited. Two and four legged children friendly.
