Super friendly, helpful owner knowledgeable on vegan options. I had a very flavorful curried 3-bean stew made with bambara beans she had just imported. Definitely worth visiting if you're in the area. Updated from previous review on 2026-02-07

We were looking forward to trying this new restaurant in Hagerstown last night with our friends and it did not disappoint! As vegetarians, we enjoyed many different options, all wonderfully flavored, but not overdone with spices. There are meat options too. I will be recommending Motherland Kitchen and Spices to others!

The new location in downtown Hagerstown was a great experience. Went in with a couple friends and ordered a few things family style. Everything by was delicious. Will definitely be back for the chicken peanut butter stew and the Kathi Kathi chicken!
