Update: went back today… They were slammed… I was patient. I ordered drinks while I waited and left when my to-go order was ready. It was wrong again. :( When will this change? :/
Oscar’s used to be a favorite for my family—we came here often. After a long break, I gave it another try, but was really disappointed. The bartender ignored me when I came to pick up my to-go order, and the food just wasn’t good. Overcooked salmon, wilted lettuce, and chewy croutons for $22. Not what it used to be, unfortunately.

What would’ve been a decent meal was made completely unenjoyable by the constant screaming coming from the kitchen. We could hear the same guy yelling- even when we were by the front door! Very unprofessional and makes for an uncomfortable dining experience.

This place is an excellent bar / restaurant. Excellent for lunch, dinner, or drinks. This place has a serious food program that is much better than anticipated. They have some pre-fixed beer tasting dinners with paired drinks for 5 courses, never tried that. They also have rotating monthly specials that are excellent. Food is consistently better than I expect from bars in this area. Can't go wrong, and prices are reasonable. Not a brunch spot, but does serve breakfast, don't expect espresso drinks.

Great burgers. Wings are high end. The regular menu items are top notch. The specials are always wild, sometimes not to everyone's taste, but still spectacular. Oscar's West really grew into Frederick very well. Love going there for date night and with the family.

It's a bar so I'll say this much, not really a big drinker so I don't usually Review places like this, but the buffalo chicken sandwich was one of few sandwiches i could say was top tier. The service was phenomenal aswell. Overall great place.
Great atmosphere, friendly staff, excellent service, delicious food. The December special Tortellini soup was TO DIE FOR! Will definitely be back when we're in town.

A busy place on a Wednesday evening. Lots of groups meeting for a meal. Our service was excellent. The food was fine. Nice variety on the menu. We had buffalo wings, (but they came with carrots?! and blue cheese dressing. A variation perhaps but I much prefer the traditional celery with blue cheese.).
Vegetarian options: Black bean burger.
Parking: It’s a strip mall. There’s lots of parking although you might not be able to park right in front of the restaurant.
Kid-friendliness: We saw families with children and they seemed to be enjoying their meals. Again, lots to choose from.

We go here frequently! Great for Happy Hour lots of different beers on tap, fresh seasonal cocktails too. The menu is pretty basic and well done. They offer several different specials, I usually opt for one of those while my husband gets the Bacon Cheese Burger or the Steak! Family friendly there's a bar side with high top tables and a dining room as well. I luv the Poke' Bowl w/ Grilled Shrimp ❤️

Stopped in for a late lunch on a Sunday. Pretty standard pub type setting with a really nice menu of filling foods along with a great tap list. I got the reuben and was quite pleased. Staff was friendly and all around just a good spot for food and drink not quite in the bustle of downtown Frederick.
