1) atmosphere is nice. Tables can be a tight fit for more than 4 people
2) service was adequate. too many menus
3) food was below average, and the main reason for my rating. spaghetti was overcooked. meatballs were mushy and flavorless. arugala salad had way too much lemon flavor-overpowering. gyro meat was overly charred and did not taste like a classic gyro. did not finish any of the food.
4) do not recommend and will not return
Our high school volleyball team banquet was held at Pistarro’s in the Amalfi room. Donna and the rest of the staff was amazing. They had the room set up beautifully and the food was great. Thank you for making it easy to celebrate our athletes!
We were driving through Frederick after a day in Baltimore. I had heard so much about Pistaro so I suggested this place to my family. We were all very impressed! We will be back!!!
