We had our first visit here, and really enjoyed our time! There is seating outside with a great view, dog friendly, and great service. There was a food truck outside, and a $5 draft deal on the current Thursday. I only wish that they had other options other than seltzers, and maybe some ciders/sours.

My wife and I love going here, great craft beers, very family friendly and they have a nice area with a playground and room for the kids to run around. Plenty of seating with beautiful views. They also have some great food trucks that come here on a regular basis. The owners are also very welcoming and they do a great job keeping up with the grounds. We love this place.

Great beer and plenty of tables outside. We'd go every weekend if it wasn't for the playground. The playset is pretty dangerous for little kids and our 2yo has been hurt twice on it. So, we'll either have to wait until he's a few years older or until the playset is removed before we'll return as a family or for group events.

I’ve been here a couple times. The owner is awesome and super nice. However, my friends and i went to relax and have a few beers but there were SO many screaming kids running around. We just got one round and left. There’s a playground so i think this brewery is more geared towards kids i guess. well be sticking to the others in town that are more relaxing for drinking adults. but this is a cool place!

It is our first time here. The atmosphere is good. The sider was less than average for me. The slushy was ok, and my husband said that the beers are ok. I'm giving 4 star because the place is nice. When the weather gets better it will be nicer to enjoy the outdoors.

Absolute best owners and staff in the business! Try the Yellow Fizzy and Oktoberfest!

As a brewery afficiando, I must say this brewery is awesome. They’ve got an excellent selection of beer. I love sours and they’ve got an amazing blueberry sour.
The customer service is incredible. Ben and Kyle are two of their beertenders, and they always cheer me up and give me great service. The Prospect Point experience is not complete without service from these two!

This place has a lot of potential! It’s a great location, plenty of room, playground for kids is a huge plus.
I enjoyed my time here and the beers were good.
If I could recommend one thing it would be to have the fire pits ready to go when someone wants to rent one and to also have some kind of accessible fire poker available. Other than that it was a good place!

Really nice, laid back brewery. Very family friendly and so much room to spread out! Beer is also tasty and staff was exceptionally nice! We went for my birthday and were able to bring in cake and snacks, which was really nice. My 3 year old and his friends had a blast running around and playing on the playground. Fun place that I look forward to returning to again soon!

My son's year-round swim organization had an event held at Prospect Point Brewing this past Saturday on Sept. 7, 2024. From planning the event to the day of, Prospect Point Brewing was so accommodating and promptly answered all of my questions. We had plenty of space at the venue to set up, the views are beautiful, and the drinks were delicious. This place is such a gem that is close to downtown Frederick, but you also have the beauty of the countryside. In addition, all of the staff are wonderful!

Beautiful place

June 2024: We visited Prospect Point Brewing shortly after they opened in 2022 (?) and felt they had some kinks to work out. In the time between visits, its clear they have!

We stopped in on a sweltering Friday evening this June to find a busy taproom. We are IPA fans so asked for small tastings of 2 of the 4 offerings (the 4th was a DIPA). Both were delicious! The friendly bartender then set down a sample of the other IPA on pour, making our decision even more difficult. They were so good, we wound up sharing a pint of each during our visit.

We live just over 30 mins from this brewery but the beer is so good and the spot on which they built is so special, it is worth the trip. We can't wait to return!

Fantastic brewery on beautiful property. We love the playground for the kids to keep them busy while the adults hangout. Nice selection of beer and live music. Come check them out ☺️
