Have only been in briefly to buy some bottles. I have enjoyed everything I have tried so far and I don’t even like typical rum. Neat small location next to airport. There was a pizza oven food truck pulling up when we were leaving. Seems like they do not serve food but have food trucks stop by.

Loved it, need to come back for tastings.

What a fun time in a Puerto Rican inspired atmosphere! I loved pretty much every flavor of pitorro - I recommend trying a flight to sample a handful first.

I swear by this place! I found it the first time when leaving Dragon Distillery a few years ago. Curiosity drew me into the space. They started out with a relatively functional interior, but with repeated visits the decoration emphasizing the owners Puerto Rican heritage has increased in complexity to make the space look vibrant instead of utilitarian. The vibe is honest and proud, in contrast to Dragon Distillery which still feels trapped in GoTmania. Recommend the sampler flight to get an idea of what you want to buy first: it's also a pretty inexpensive way to sample their wares. If you time it right Chef Santos will be selling Puerto Rican food too.Not dog friendly, since the interior is part of the production facility.

Great place to bring Family members (over 21) when they come to Visit you in Maryland and friend to get them experience our pitorro...Every employee and Owners always greet and treat you like family. Come by and experience this amazing place.

I have visisted twice, with awful experiences. The spirits are harsh and don't justify the pricepoint they ask for bottles. Moreover, the one bathroom is located in the back of the business. While using the bathroom, I had to pass past several heated elements, vats, barrels, etc, that was very tight. They do not have a changing table. There were two exention cords running out of the bathroom into the "brewing" area. I did not feel safe. While traveling the 30 yards from the "tasting area" to the industrial bathroom, I observed workers adding cheap industrial purees and juices in the mixes for their rum-based liquors. Also, you can't bring your own food. My friend and I could not bring in outside food becuase the employee cited "health code concerns."

A couple of months ago I discovered this establishment after a mix up on my foodie calendar and I couldn't be more thankful for the mistake. The distillery is a women, veteran and family owned business that specializes in crafting sugarcane rum that is flavored with fresh fruits. I visited on a Sunday, which is when they are usually closed and Angel, the co-owner was nice enough to let us have a tasting and buy a few bottles. After learning on certain nights they have a live band and with a catered dinner, I am definitely making it a point to return to this hidden gem.

I live in Puerto Rico and was in Maryland on vacation. As soon as I walked in, I felt that original smell of "Clandestino" rum. The flavor was perfect. Excellent service. Both the employee (forgot his name) and the owner, were very friendly. We had the testing and received a complimentary "Coquito", GREAT FLAVOR. Will highly recommend. Next trip to MD, I will surely visit again. Gracias compueblano. Bendiciones.

Amazing rum! Very flavorful and the packaging is pleasing on the eyes. I visited here about a month ago with friends for a tasting. The host was awesome. Not only did we get to taste a variety of flavors, but he gave us a history lesson about Pitorro and how it's made. They even explained the reasoning behind the rubber bands on their product (no spoilers from me!). I left the store with a bottle of their Almond Pitorro (getting the traditional and coconut on my next visit), Pique and even a bag of coffee from the island! A true taste from home. They definitely won me as a customer!

If you are looking to try some Puertorican rum go ahead and check this place out. They specialize on Pitorro which is a distilled spirit originating in Puerto Rico. Friendly staff and good service. Would recommend!

Family owned. Super friendly. It was great to see the cafeteria trays come out with the flights. These cafeteria trays were what Puerto Rican kids used in school. Great to go with friends for a quick tasting.

My wife and I were leaving the (excellent) distillery next door and decided to check out this one too. What a great place. We got there a little before closing, but it was enough time to get the full experience. The owner explained all the rums to us and gave us the sheets to check off for the tastings (only $5 each for 4 and it's a charitable donation). They also have a few drink tastings you can choose instead of straight spirits. We chose 8 different drinks and spirits. They were all excellent. There was a guy selling sandwiches and were hats out on a table for sale. There was also a woman singing. When she finished singing, she went to decorating the hats...talk about multi-talented!We ended up with a bottle of the passion fruit rum. Some people who left right before us purchased 4 bottles! The rums are really solid. I think the passion fruit will work excellent in a cocktail. Can't wait to create one!
