I remember years ago reading about the opening of Pumpernickel and Rye, even then it sounded delicious and unique in what they offered. However, I live across the county from where the are located so I never had the opportunity to stop in. Today as I sit home, under cloudy rainy skies I decided to order lunch and headed to Door Dash, when up pops P&R, and once again I was intrigued with all they had to offer. I thought well, I'm sure driving the distance to get to my home the food will only be lukewarm but let's try it anyway. I have to admit I love the names they have given to their sandwiches, I opted for the "Don't worry, brie happy" and a Fireside hot tea! WOW! each were not only delicious but more than hot upon delivery! The sandwich was thinly sliced turkey on sour dough bread, creamy brie, apricot jam, roasted apples, and arugla! It was divine! I am a hot tea drinker but have never had a fig tea, it was delightful!! I am more than pleased and happy with P&R, try them!!

Coffee was good awful. Burned tasteFood was nothing special and really didn't feel like eating it. Reviews sounded great. Looks like interesting beer selection. I wouldn't return. Maybe they can improve but for me it was big disappointment. Blech !!

So glad I discovered this place - by the far the best local deli in the DMV - the lattes and other drinks they have here are delicious as well. A+ for quality, taste and uniqueness of menu selections. Highly recommend.

My latte wasn’t made right, I had them remake it and still it wasn’t right. The food was tasteless. Very expensive for what you get. I had to take my food home and add flavor to it.

Unimpressed, just an overrated average deli, this place sells GMO products like Fisher Popcorn & other harmful products, the lady that waited on me was your typical Karen.
My daughter and I tried this place out before we went on our shopping spree at the outlet and we were very pleasantly surprised;). We tried the Don't Worry Brie Happy (YUM) and the Sir Dips A Lot (Yum but would've like maybe some horseradish twang to it). Cute atmosphere and the folks working there were friendly. Totally understand why it gets great reviews!

The place has a great location and is really cute. The staff have generally been pleasant. My sister and I usually do online orders. Sometimes the food has been really good, other times average (where I also need to add in cost to a value equation).The website noted the pickup time and I decided to inquire 15+ minutes earlier than the pickup time and all was sitting there ready by then. That said, getting a toasted bagel and bringing home nearby, it was already cool, so awareness needed for anyone else doing online orders. The egg/bacon sandwich was okay in general. I use the convenience of online, but ordering there and getting warm and fresh is likely ideal.The biggest thing though was this morning I really wanted a good cup of coffee, thus instead of making coffee at home or going to SB, I ordered from here. The coffee was smooth but the taste was not pleasant at all for some reason. Other times, I've had a coffee drink that was good. So thus my feeling of how things have been hit or miss for us.

Absolutely the best tasting food ive had in a long long time. Food here is authentic and made with the freshest veggies and meats from local farmers. Most of the sandwiches here have some type of ingredient i would never have tried. The food is so tasty and mouthwatering. This place is always packed not just inside but call in orders for pickup. The only thing i wish i could change is the prices...pretty high for a sandwich but maybe worth it for the amazing one of a kind taste. Trust me...everything made here is the freshest food made with pure love! Go get a sandwich and tell me how amazing it was. Hands down the best tasting sandwich in the state.
