I'm a foodie, so I wanted to try something new. Ragin' Reef came up on Google maps, so I went. Upon arrival of the restaurant, it looks like a quaint, rustic country house, but the atmosphere on the inside was very nice, homey, and comfortable. The food was amazing. The menu wasn't extensive, but what was there was prepared phenomenally well. Absolutely delish. My server, Alex, was a southern gentleman. Staff and service were super friendly. I will be returning to try the other menu items.

The place was busy because of a party but staff gave accurate wait times and were attentive to keeping us updated. Hush puppies and crab cake were both excellent.
The crab cake was delicious. The service was okay. The atmosphere could certainly be improved; it looked a bit like a diner and I was freezing the whole time.

Hush puppies and oysters. Very clean atmosphere, not overcrowded, and yummy food. They have the best hush puppies out of all the hush puppies I have had in Frederick. Also my friend ordered the fried fish and fries and looked so good and she said she loved it.

I ordered pick up. I ordered a crab cake sandwich and the crab bisque soup. The soup had a bunch of shells in it. As did the crab cake. It was awful. I usually don’t leave reviews but it was that bad. The crab cake itself had a weird taste bc of onions. But the worst part was every bite getting shells.
