I really enjoy the beers at RAK and make it a point to visit when I'm in town.

The menu consists primary of pizza, gourmet hog dogs, and Po Boy Sandwiches. I got the Mustard Tiger (or something like that) Po Boy Sandwich. It was absolutely excellent. The side of fries weren't much to look at but, looks definitely deceived. The seasoning on the fries was very good. Add a great stout and I was glad I made this choice. I'll definitely be back and highly recommend giving it a shot.

Only giving 2 stars because their beer is actually good. Went in one weekend and asked to do a flight and was told they no longer offer flights on the weekend (it wasn't even busy). I was told I could do a 5oz pour which is more expensive than a flight but fine. Went in a different day on the yard side and asked for a 5oz pour and was told I can't get one in the yard side only the OG side. . The OG side was closed for a private party 2 beers costing $20 is not okay. Can't help but feel its all a money grab not to mention not good customer service. Will not be back

PRO TIP: Do not get reservations here. Just show up. Seriously, just show up early and bogart a couple random tables. Reserved 3 tables, at the end of our outing we were reduced to 1 for people who didn't have reservations.
Also, be super aware they have a minimum cost of per-kid-per-hour for reservations. If you have a kids just tagging along, they'll essentially be considered drinking adults and you'll need to cover their costs. The whole scenario was so awkward and bad. Our first time will be our last time here.
Shout out to our hostess though, she was so patient, courteous and friendly. Easy 5-stars for her!

We had our Welcome Party for our wedding at RAK, and it was such a great experience! Stephanie was amazing to work with - professional, great communication, and made sure the evening went smoothly. The space itself is beautiful and is perfect for hosting groups. We love RAK!

Hosted a private event at RAK and would highly recommend! The private bar area is gorgeous and convenient, and the entire event planning experience was a breeze. The staff were knowledgeable and attentive, and the pizza and drinks were delicious! Would definitely recommend hosting events at RAK.
If you enjoy drinking beer whilst gaggles of unsupervised children run amok then this is the place for you.

As a long time resident and brewery patron, RAK does it right. I visit RAK every few weeks since they've opened and always find the staff to be helpful, attentive and friendly. The space is clean and well decorated and offers an alternative to feeling like you're in someone's garage. Any time I've offered feedback, I've gotten a thoughtful response via email. You can tell the management takes suggestions seriously. They care about their reputation and it shows. There's always something new to try, and their incorporation of DoP Pizza was brilliant/a no brainer. Grateful to be greeted with friendly faces and happy to spend my money where I feel welcomed and valued as a paying customer, which is more than I can say for some other breweries around town.

***UPDATE 10-09-25*** Attended a beer dinner here for the first time and was not disappointed!!! 4 great meal courses paired with 4 full pour beers and topped off with a tray of dessert and a taster beer. I plan on attending future dinners here for sure.
First time here...enjoyed it!!! Not the typical taphouse feel but a lounge vibe. High tables, standard tables and cushy chairs make for a chill location. Somewhat quiet today (Saturday 12 noon) but it was 3/4 full of people trying the new place. Beer selection was decent with a wide variety that I think everyone could find something they like...along with a food truck nearby. Didn't notice any outdoor seating but being December š¤· maybe waiting till spring. The only thing I'm wandering about is the bar itself did not seem very big....plenty of beer tenders to help, but not a lot of bar seating.

RAK Brewing is a truly great place to go in Frederick, Maryland! This time, I attended a moving away party for a friend and for several people, it was their first visit. Everyone loved it and some have already been back! RAK is just a first class operation from the staff, food and drinks to the decor and the RAK yardā¦ you need to check them out! Plusā¦ Iām not a beer drinker so itās great that they have wine and cocktails, too! Their owners Troyce and Joe Gatewood and Steve McIntyre have done an incredible job creating a super spot in downtown Frederickā¦great parking, private and corporate events are perfect for here, too! We used RAK for our wedding reception recently. Stephanie and all the staff were amazingly supportive, helpful and friendly! The event 1/2 of RAK is beautiful and fit our needs perfectly. I actually rented the same site for a corporate event under the older brewery that used to use the building and it is 1000% improved since then! All the guests enjoyed it, the price is was definitely right and we would recommend them for sure. Beer's great too : )
