Had a last minute booking because funerals are never really planned. Everything from the food to communication was great. Opted for the barbecued pork and chicken along with sides. Macaroni and cheese was excellent. Fresh Martin's rolls were provided along with lemonade and iced tea. Highly recommended. Easy to deal with fairly priced.

What an amazing experience!! We planned my 80th birthday party at the Oak Room with Renaissance as the caterers. They were amazing to work with. As we planned the menu, Jake worked with us to include suggested family recipes. All of their personnel was great, friendly and courteous. On the day of the party, Jake found me to be sure I had first taste of everything and it was great!! All of the guest raved about the food and the service. Again, if you are looking for a company with great service, great food and great staff, I would highly recommend Renaissance. Thank you for all you do!

Our entire experience with Renaissance Chef catering was fabulous. We were putting together an event at the last minute and Alisha was extremely responsive and helpful with helping us from the time of our first inquiry, right up to the date of the event. The staff that worked the event were also great.

We had a 50th birthday party for my wife at the Delaplaine center and the catering was great. The food was delicious, and staff took care of all our needs. Thanks for making it seem so seamless.

Renaissance Chef catered our wedding and the food was so delicious! The servers were so friendly and made sure everyone was taken care of. We had a family style meal with three choices, so everyone could pick whatever they want. The staff was also very careful with our guests’ allergies. They were even very generous with portion sizes at our tasting. We highly recommend!

Renaissance Chef catered the rehearsal dinner/night before celebration for our son's wedding. Their prices are very reasonable, they offer many menu options, and are easy to work with. Their set up was extremely efficient and we received many, many compliments on the food. They did an outstanding job. We were extremely pleased. We would not hesitate to hire them again.

Top tier catering and truly incredible staff! Our wedding venue, Mountain Memories At Thorpewood, recommended Renaissance Catering. We went in, a couple in our 40s, with an open mind and few expectations for our 50-person wedding. But after our first tasting, we quickly decided that food was the most important part of the day. We loved EVERYTHING we ordered to try, and later, we added more to our entrees and appetizers because we couldn’t decide and wanted our guests to experience all the flavors.

The food and genuinely great interaction with Alisha and the crew leading up to the event were easy, clear, and worry-free. We didn’t have to think about the food— we knew it would be excellent (it was). But perhaps what we didn’t expect was the care and humanity the team showed us all from start to finish.

Kristen led the team day of (and met with us a few weeks prior at the venue to go over everything). We didn’t have a wedding party, but the team felt like they stood in that role. Tanya made an impression on every person I talked to after. She felt like a part of the family. Kristen, Tanya, and the team were always right there, guiding us to our table to encourage us to eat, they brought us plates full of food after photos, made sure our drinks were always full, and made breaking everything down at the end of the evening seamless.

We are so appreciative. Any aspect of a wedding for two introverts who have never hosted any kind of social gathering can be overwhelming. But it was such a relief— and a treat!— to know food was something we didn’t have to worry about. We could instead enjoy and eat! Thank you so much. Highly highly recommend!

We are so grateful to the Renaissance Chef team for their fantastic work at our recent wedding. So many of our guests commented on how wonderful the staff was (especially Tanya!). And Kristen was phenomenal at making sure we were comfortable and taken care of. She was a lifesaver and the consummate professional. We couldn't be happier with Renaissance Chef.

The entire team at Ren Chef was absolutely amazing! From the start of our wedding planning journey to the actual day of our ceremony and reception, their attention to detail and customer service was impeccable. There are not enough words to describe how much we loved working with this entire team, head chef Jake, the office staff, Alisha, the planning help from Kristen and wait staff at the site, Tonya, everyone was so helpful and kind. We had the most amazing time at our wedding and it was greatly impart to how lovely every single person from this team was. Now the food - WOW!!! Every single dish was cooked to perfection and we received so many compliments including "the best food they have ever had at a gathering" and "the best wedding food I have ever had"! Renaissance Chef catered our Welcome Drink party the night before my son's wedding. We wanted heavy hors d'oeuvres since we knew that would be the only chance to eat dinner. Alisha was so patient with us as we were exploring options, and the chef went to great lengths to ensure that we could provide plenty of options for our gluten intolerant guests. The food was all amazing - all our guests raved about it! Note: don't forget to order the cheesecake - the best I've ever had! And the staff was great - very organized and efficient! Everything could not have been better and we would recommend Renaissance Chef in a heartbeat!
