The incompetence of the people that run this dam place is astounding.
Asked to have a custom drink made and they screwed up the drink twice.
I sincerely hope that SOMEONE/ANYONE in management views this post and hires some people who actually care about what orders are made

I arrived at the facility on monocracy Boulevard around 8 PM 26th of December 2025. I walked in and there’s four teenage female employees behind the counter. Laughing and giggling and carrying on. Which is fine. I probably stood there for a few minutes before one of them finally said will be with you in a minute. Find you I’m the only one in the entire store. No one in the drive-through. Waited for her to take my order for my drink. Placed my order aside for approximately 10 minutes before I asked “will it be much longer for my drinks“ one of the girls said “whoops“ she’ll make it in just a second“ I waited for more than five more minutes. The girl presented me with a shaken espresso that was wrong and then I had to wait another couple of minutes for her to pour a lemonade. I was there for at least 20 minutes to get two drinks with four employees in the store And only one girl working. The three of them in the back, behind the counter would literally open the door and giggle and laugh, and I almost asked what’s so funny“ extremely rude extremely unprofessional. I will never give the Starbucks on Monocacy Boulevard my money ever again. Your teenagers need training before you leave them alone to run a business. And I foolishly tipped them before my drink was made! What a waste.

Hello, I'm sorry to say the lack of employees who say hello and dont greet customers is sad. It seems to me Starbucks doesn't put customer service first. It seems like all the fun of working at a Starbucks is drained out of there employees. I always say hello and when I pick up my mobile order I say thank you and its rare that im even acknowledge.

November 8th around 8:23 PM- I went to go pick up a mobile order. I hate to be a Karen, because every Starbucks in Frederick is fantastic! But I ordered a late night coffee for a quick pick me up, excited because who doesn’t love late night drinks haha. I go through the drive through about 3 minutes later as I ordered it on the road. We pull up, we say we are here for a mobile order, and they tell us to pull up. Simple right… We get to the window, NO ONE comes to the window for 7 minutes. Like I joke not.. We are sitting there like “Uhh, Are they okay in there?” Keep in mind, we are looking THROUGH the window because we are nosey and its been a WHILE, and its two young girls just talking, ignoring us?? And to note, no one is in the store (customer-wise) and no other cars are in the drive through. The girl then opens the window, “want a stRAW?” shoves the drink at us with the cold foam all over the cup and makes a rude face. We were so confused I am not going to lie. Perhaps they don’t like when people order mobile orders through drive through?? Idk… I much prefer Urbana Pike location, they are nice, quick and efficient.
Worst starbucks i have ever been to in my entire life. They are rude, unhelpful and unkind.
Terrible to be served the staff careless for people walk in , they attend drive-tru and online orders

Stopped by the drive thru around 4 pm. When I stopped at the speaker box the screen was entirely black and no one greeted me. I waited 1-2 minutes before pulling forward, figured the speaker must be broken so I mobile ordered my cafe misto and cake pop. There was one car at the window when I pulled around. Once I got to the window, I mentioned that I was picking up a mobile order. Jane asked if I stopped at the speaker box. I said yes and that no one answered. She said to stop at the speaker box next time and closed the window. She never greeted me at the speaker box or the window; I was treated as a transaction. Likened this visit to a fast food joint. I’ve only been here a handful of times and every time the baristas are not friendly or welcoming. The Riverview plaza location workers are always friendly, stop there instead!

I went to Starbucks twice this week and waited 30-40 minutes both days waiting for my drink because they forgot about it

I ordered a drink and I know they’ve recently had to start writing notes on the cups but I don’t understand why make an unnecessary and rude comment about the drink I choose to pay for and get. My cup had ”yuk” written on it. I didn’t pay to get the barista’s opinion on my drink.

I used the drive through today, it was my first ever visit. The service was super fast and the cashier was friendly. I appreciated my experience today.
