Best beer in Frederick!

Delicious beer. Great place to gather with a large group of people. The management was responsive and accommodating.

This was my favorite brewery in Frederick, especially in terms of entertainment. As for craft beers, they have a solid, diverse line up that can meet everyone's desires. I especially found their pumpkin pie ale delicious! If you have an opportunity, check out their entertainment schedule and be sure to attend a bluegrass night. It's pretty much an open session that can range anywhere from 5 to 12+ musicians. On the night we were there they cranked for almost 3 hours, and the diversity was outstanding! We will be back!!

Solid brews but darn I’ve never met a more miserable bartender. Borderline rude. Move on, girl.

This review is for weddings at Steinhardt -
For the planning phase - They don’t have any planner/coordinator (it’s a brewery, not a wedding factory), but Jim made himself available for walkthroughs, answered a million questions, and was present and helpful throughout. The staff set up the tables/chairs for us the day before which we also appreciated.
For the actual day - the staff was fantastic, the beer was flowing, and the space really popped. We chose this location specifically for it’s aesthetics - can’t beat the exposed brick with those windows! We also really like the beer (really like the beer) - they have a wide range that appeals to a wide audience. You won’t find any fruited milkshake sour IPAs here, but you will find excellent examples of classic styles (our favorites are the helles, Irish red, hefeweizen, and MYO seltzers). We would recommend this to anyone looking for a downtown Frederick venue!

Local resident of Frederick here and we have many local breweries to choose from. Steinhardt’s is hands down the best of the lot with great Belgian brews and not just a bunch of IPAs with one stout and one weird flavored beer. Good atmosphere and staff—l love riding my bike down there for a beer on Carroll Creek on a sunny afternoon. If you haven’t tried it, do yourself a favor and go today.

Decent beer but this food truck “La Carreta” is absolutely awful

Best beers I had while visiting Frederick breweries in July '25. Loved that there were so many less-common styles, as well. Friendly, knowledgeable staff too... and dog friendly inside the tap room. There are a lot of breweries in the immediate area, but DON'T skip this spot!

They have a wide selection of craft beers. I tried all the IPAs all were great. Wide spacious bar and attentive bartenders
