What I would call a rustic bakery. Somethings are awesome and others just OK. I like the beef empanadas. Pepperoni rolls not so much. Chocolate croissants are Ok. Breads are good with great variety. If you’re traveling on I70 it’s definitely worth a little detour.

Wonderful bread. Great little authentic bakery filled with wonderful smells and delicious baked goods. I tried several loaves of homemade bread and it was Worth driving out of the way to pick up more.

The lady who picked up the phone to place an order on 7-24-2024 at 1:30 pm is very rude!!! Didn't even bother to say hello even when I greeted her!!! No customer Service whatsoever. She just hugged the phone up on me while I was talking!!! Extremely RUD!!! BAD ATTITUDE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

First time at this bakery. There are no labels or descriptions in front of any of the desserts. I was asking the lady working what the different desserts were. I decided on one and was asking about another. She seemed to be annoyed or frustrated. She asked me if I wanted anything else. I said no and left with nothing. Customer service is very important. It doesn’t matter how good a product is if the staff is rude.

Everything looks delicious. I got a chocolate and normal croissant.
Didn’t feel welcomed at all though.

New Bakery in town. Their pastries were beautifully presented and delicious. I would advise you to put a sticker with your business logo and phone number on the pastry boxes (free marketing).
Parking: I used the parking from the stores next door
Wheelchair accessibility: Inside the bakery, the space is limited

The female working told us to hurry up because she is busy because we asked what type of pastry something was. She was very rude and disrespectful to myself and my mother. Lost a customer.

Stop every morning for a scone, best around. Bread selection is huge, the muffins are delicious, chocolate croissant is one of the best I've had. So friendly when you walk in.

Would give negative 5 stars if i could. All I did was call and politely ask about a cake. Absolutely the worst customer service I have ever received! Employee's/owners? are beyond rude! Can not believe this bakery is still in buisness. They don't deserve anyone's hard earned money.

Came in and got some pastries. I can’t speak for all the baked goods but what we got was horrible. The pastry had very little filling and was not flaky and did not taste fresh. I asked if it was made today and she said yes but seriously doubt it. There are better choices in Frederick.

Terrible service. Came in with some friends. We were not ready to order so we let the gentleman behind us go first. He thanked us and told us how good the stuff was. We didn't know we gave away our chance to order anything! Unfortunately, the employee ignored us and would not take our orders. She went to the back and started unloading things and made eye contact but would not assist us. After 8 minutes, we left, empty handed. I'll never visit here again.

One time I went on Sunday, lady inside closed 1 hour before and was disappointed, didn't let that discourage me and went back, and wow love all their goods
So dissapointed to have to edit my review of a few years ago. While the quality of Stone Hearth was very good The prices and service has been dissapointing. My last visit in the early summer 2023 was the last straw.I understand the economy has caused price hikes but they seemed excessive at Stone Hearth. The biggest turn off was the young women waiting on me. I purchased bread, roll,s and pastry. I noticed I was over charged on my bag of rolls. They were marked $10.00 for bag of 6. My reciept showed I was charged $11.00. I told the young women and pointed to the sign over the bread. Her reply was condescending and rude "No the sign is wrong goodbye". I have not returned since. I miss the quality of the baked goods at Stone Hearth but between the cost and rude service I have not returned.
