Cute, fun shop on beautiful Caroll Creek. We weren't overly impressed with the ice cream. We had 4 people and everyone said their ice cream lacked flavor. The homemade cone was tasty tho! We were there on President's day so school was closed and they were fairly busy. There was one young man running the entire store, if anyone else was there we didn't see them. Regardless this young man handled everything perfectly. He was polite and clearly hard working. Well done!

A small group of us decided to check out the boats on the creek. It was pretty cold, so I stopped into Sweeties to grab some coffee. They had a lot of cute toys and stuffed animals for kids, and treats as well. They had a few ice cream options, which is what I assume is what they are most known for. They were pretty busy and had about 4 staff working. At first things seemed to be running smoothly, but then it started to slow down a lot, while the line was getting longer. I had ordered a vanilla latte for my daughter and myself. Mine wasn't bad, but my daughter's tasted like regular coffee, not espresso and barely any vanilla. I did ask for 2 more pumps, which they did. Then, it appeared that their coffee machine stopped working. My friend was also waiting on her hot chocolate for several minutes, and was then told that the machine was down. Overall, wasn't a great experience, but I understand things happen. Maybe I'll give them another shot during warmer months.

The ice cream quality is excellent, and they always have a few unique flavors that I tend to enjoy. Staff are always wonderful. Pup cups are a HUGE bonus.

Would definitely recommend this place. The young man that took our order was courteous, polite and patient despite being busy. I should of asked for his name, This was just now, if you are the employee reading this review… Kudos! Great customer service!

Came here because the creamery was closed. Saw the sign advertising homemade ice cream and though I would give it a try. Always up for helping a local business. However, they could help themselves by producing some decent ice cream. My son and I purchased two small cones of ice cream. I expected the $11.50 for two small scoops sticker shock. That is just the price of things now. But, what I didn't expect was the complete lack of flavor and grainy texture of the "homemade" ice cream. The butter pecan had exactly 2 pecans in it. The ice cream itself was simply flavorless. I couldn't even bring myself to finish it after spending that kind of money. My son got the pear/honey. The pear fruit flavor strong but on the side tasting artificial. Overall, I can see why there was no one here on a sunny August afternoon. The prices are in range for downtown Frederick, but I wouldn't have finished it if I paid $2, I just would have resented the waste slightly less. Would recommend avoiding and just waiting for the real thing.
The ice cream is good, but the the service is questionable, the heavy set girl with curly hair seems like she hates being there, just glares at customers who come in,. And thinks a tip will be given for that, yeah nooooo.
