Taco Bar in Frederick is a hidden gem! The tacos were packed with flavor, the ingredients were fresh, and the portions were generous. The staff was friendly and attentive, and the service was quick even during a busy time. The salsa bar and margaritas were excellent too — everything tasted authentic and freshly made. Definitely one of the best taco spots around! I’ll be coming back for sure.

11SEPT.2025 A nice spot tucked in a shopping mall off of the Golden Mile. My 1st time in here and customer service was wonderful and super friendly. Very helpful with information with the bar (it has the most delicious, fresh dressing for the tacos.
I had the El Pastor tacos and they were on corn tortillas and every bite was so juicy like the first bit. The horchata(iced) was so delicious and hitting on every flavor cylinder. The prices are reasonable for what is being served.
The decor is nice and colorful. So looks like a street in dwntwn Mexico 🇲🇽. Spacious and clean inside and great atmosphere. Stop in and you’ll be back for more.

Very quaint shop for authentic mexican food. I always get their lunch burrito with beans on the side. Their salsa bar is great. I end up slapping some cilantro, pickles onions and one of each salsa with the beans and use it as a salad/dip for my burrito! Hits real hard. Would recommend.

The BEST authentic tacos this side of the Potomac. Cannot express the deliciousness of their steak and can’t forget to mention they use actual pieces of steak - not the ground meat chunks used everywhere else.
Their tortillas always taste fresh, their sauce/toppings bar is always stocked.
Owner should work on fixing the AC can’t imagine the employees in the back when the lobby feels like Florida.
The hard shells were too hard. The feed was chewy and bland. The chicken rings was good. Overall just bland, but I guess it’s good for Frederick who doesn’t know any better.

Stop here to get some food. I love the carne asada fries — they were cooked, cheesy, and overall delicious.
I would add that it is a bit expensive. For the price, I think I would prefer for the customer to be able to refill their drink at a soda machine… It feels like we are limited.
