The Pasta Palette is a pasta store that sells classic and flavored pasta and sauces. It's nice that they sell gluten-free pasta, too. The staff is helpful in providing recommendations and recipes for each type of pasta.

While in town for a girlfriends get away we stopped in. I was in heaven because well who doesn't love pasta!? I loved how much better it tastes than boxes from a grocery store. I will be returning and it's a great little stop in downtown Frederick MD.

Haven't yet had a chance to try the pasta, but there are some incredible infused pasta flavors. The staff are incredibly kind and helpful, providing fantastic recommendations based on ingredients and tastes.A lady who might've been the owner was fantastic, and I wish I caught her name to thank her personally for providing some recipes for use in the pasta.Note that the pasta isn't made in-house, but sourced through different suppliers, but that does not take away from the fact that they have over 100 different flavors that sell at roughly $12.50/lb.

Very unique speciality store that sells so many different flavors and types of pasta. All shapes and sizes, spicy to savory. I got the kickin red pepper penne and let me tell ya, it's great even without sauce. The pasta itself is so flavorful. I added some spicy red sauce which made it even better! Prices were fair as well.

The store was fine but the lemon pepper pasta I bought there was absolutely awful. I love pasta, I've cooked it for years, I've used different brands, and I've made it from scratch. This lemon pepper pasta behaved like nothing I've seen before. While it was cooking the water was the consistency of a pudding. When I tipped the pasta into the colander, the sludge that came off was so thick it clogged the sink and I had to use the waste disposal to clear the sink. It was inedible and I threw it out. What a waste.

My friend and I walked in her out of sheer curiosity and we both left with some pasta! It's a very cool store offering so many varieties of pasta that I didn't even know existed. The girl behind the counter was very helpful and knowledgeable. They even had sampler baskets so you can get a few. I got one for a friend of mine who's birthday is coming up and she loves pasta so I'm excited to do a tasting with her! I haven't yet tried the pastas but I'm excited to! I got a hickory smoked bacon one that I'm going to cook this week! Yum!

Phenomenal! Truly just great pasta. I bought the extreme habanero and it was excellent with butter and a bit of garlic powder. I highly recommend the pasta palette!

Wonderful selection of dried artisan pasta and sauces in shapes and flavors you will not see anywhere else. Purchased a jar of bacon alfredo, a half of lemon parsley muffledine (?) and a squid ink noodle that I tossed with a light cream, butter and garlic sauce. Tonight is their squid ink pasta with squid in ink. Have been obsessed with the lavender fettuccine-- which I didn't get my first visit-- for months. Will be back to pick some up!Great for gifts. Or for yourself, because you're a grownup and deserve better than The Blue Box.Note: February they are closed M-W because business is typically slow.
